James 2:14-19 New International Version (NIV)
Faith and Deeds
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

It is very true that salvation is a gift from God and is not gained by work so that no one may glorify, God's grace is sufficient, and there are no more requirements but those expressed in Romans 10:9 que si confesares con tu boca que Jesús es el Señor, y creyeres en tu corazón que Dios le levantó de los muertos, serás salvo.

But no less true is that once salvation has been attained we have not concluded our walk and the faith that has already saved us needs to grow and bear fruit; It is necessary that when this desire to please And serve God is activated in us, consider all that the Holy Ghost has managed to awaken in us.

It is not in vain that Jesus said, "I am the vine and you are the pampas..." Jhon 15:5 New International Version

So showing the works of our faith is an inevitable consequence of the spiritual growth that we have achieved by the development and formation of our character, which must be more like the character of Christ every day: Ephesians 4:13 until we all reach the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God of God. , to a perfect male, tailored to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;

In conclusion, the works are a clear demonstration that we have a living and active faith; otherwise it would be virtually impossible to live with the Holy Spirit, since it is enlivened by our communion and communication with the Father, from which we took his goodwill, pleasant and perfect to fulfill the purpose for which he brought us into admirable light when we were still killed in crimes and sins.
