Ephesians 4 vs 17-32
Hello everyone, I am new here and I am so glad to introduce my self to you. I love sharing the word of God with fellow believers and to people who are ready to give Jesus a chance to reign in their hearts. Hope I am welcomed here?
A quick one and a must read…
Prince was a very quick tempered man who lived with his wife and son in a one room apartment, he was very abusive and un –approachable. Over time his circle of friends grew smaller because his kind of character was no longer tolerated. At first, he was not bothered but when he realized that he would equally loose his wife and only son, he decided to change. He tried several methods on his own but it proved abortive and he resorted to constant drinking.
On one fateful day, he got talking to a street Evangelist who ministered Jesus to him and he experienced the true Spiritual Rebirth, he realized his foolishness and his bad character which constantly chased people away from him and with the help of the Holy Spirit, he became an entirely new man. He gave himself to counseling and Discipleship, he grew more and more in his wisdom of God’s word. He found strength and direction through Gods word, he went back to apologize and made restitution where necessary and soon, all his friends were won over to GOD.. HALLELUJAH!!
The victory produced at the point of salvation can never be underestimated. When we are in Christ, we are free from the satanic nature of self and sin 2nd Corinthians 5 vs 17. Freedom and peace can only come at our rebirth which is in Christ. Rev. 21 vs 4 says " And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and they shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away." Every child of God ought to have a genuine experience of salvation and must desire Gods sincere word to keep them growing in the lord.
Prince became a NEW MAN because he gave God a chance to break, mould and to pour his spirit upon him. The big question is this WILL YOU GIVE JESUS A CHANCE?
