A few days ago, I bought a 32-inch Smart TV, taking advantage of a promotion at a store that was celebrating its anniversary. This purchase led me to buy another item, a surge protector, which is essential for protecting electrical appliances from fluctuations that can shorten their lifespan.
The old outlet had two prongs, and the surge protector had three prongs, one of which is the grounding prong, essential for electrical safety. I solved this problem by buying a three-prong outlet; the other option was to buy an adapter. But I decided to replace the old outlet with a new three-prong one.
