One morning, a few days ago, I took some milk out of the refrigerator. It had a rather unpleasant smell and I found that it was indeed spoiled. Strange, I had bought it the day before and it was packaged to last a long time. Maybe it was old from the supermarket, I thought, threw it away and went on with my business. Later I went to make myself a pizza to eat and saw that the cheese was too soft. I confirmed that the inside of the fridge was at room temperature.
Una mañana, hace unos días, saqué leche del frigorífico. Tenía un olor bastante desagradable y comprobé que, efectivamente, estaba en mal estado. Qué raro, la había comprado el día anterior y estaba envasada para que durara mucho tiempo. Quizá venía vieja del supermercado, pensé, la tiré y seguí a lo mío. Más tarde fui a hacerme una pizza para comer y vi que el queso estaba demasiado blando. Confirmé que el interior del frigorífico estaba a temperatura ambiente.

The desolation was total, a refrigerator is very expensive and so is a technical service. I opened the freezer, it was very cold and there was some ice. That gave me a lot of hope, because it meant it was partially working.
I looked up some videos to understand how it worked, I'm a bit curious about everything and I get by with manual things. I honestly prefer to pay a professional, but times are tough, in an economy with distorted prices repairing something used is not cost effective.
La desolación era total, un frigorífico es muy caro y un servicio técnico también. Abrí el congelador, estaba muy frío y había algo de hielo. Eso me dio muchas esperanzas, porque significaba que estaba funcionando parcialmente.
Busqué algunos vídeos para entender cómo funcionaba, soy un poco curiosa para todo y me apaño con cosas manuales. Sinceramente prefiero pagar a un profesional, pero son tiempos difíciles, en una economía con precios distorsionados reparar algo usado no es rentable.
My refrigerator has a "no frost" system, and apparently it is of good quality. The cold is generated in the freezer and with a fan system it moves to the bottom of the unit.
I then understood that there is a temperature regulator and two sensors that tell the fan to turn on or off. Since the freezer was operating normally, I intuited that the problem was either the fan, the regulators or the sensor. So I disassembled the inside of the appliance taking out a plastic panel and behind it was the darn fan.
Mi frigorífico tiene un sistema "no frost", y aparentemente es de buena calidad. El frío se genera en el congelador y con un sistema de ventilador se desplaza a la parte inferior del equipo.
Entonces entendí que hay un regulador de temperatura y dos sensores que le dicen al ventilador que se encienda o se apague. Como el congelador funcionaba con normalidad, intuí que el problema era el ventilador, los reguladores o el sensor. Así que desmonté el interior del aparato sacando un panel de plástico y detrás estaba el dichoso ventilador.
I tried to turn it manually and surprise, it was hard, and with some rust. Here I want to make an important clarification. There is an aerosol to lubricate, here it is called WD-40 but in another country it may have another name. This spray is very good for rust removal and lubrication, but it does not replace machine oil. The important thing is that the fan has oil, the spray eventually dries and the problem reappears. So I put oil in it, the best thing to do is to put both, first remove the rust with the spray and then put oil in.
Intenté girarlo manualmente y sorpresa, estaba duro, y con algo de óxido. Aquí quiero hacer una aclaración importante. Existe un aerosol para lubricar, aquí se llama WD-40 pero en otro país puede tener otro nombre. Este aerosol es muy bueno para quitar el óxido y lubricar, pero no reemplaza al aceite de máquina. Lo importante es que el ventilador tenga aceite, el spray con el tiempo se seca y vuelve a aparecer el problema. Así que le puse aceite, lo mejor es poner las dos cosas, primero sacar el óxido con el spray y luego poner aceite.

Once oiled, I proceeded to turn it manually, also making some movements (soft) so that the oil penetrated well. After a few minutes, I activated the buttons that are pressed when closing the doors. The fan still did not turn, but with a little push it started to do so. I breathed a sigh of relief, if the motor wasn't burned out there was hope. I let it spin for a while, then slowed down and tried again. The fan responded instantly.
Una vez aceitado, procedí a girarlo manualmente, haciendo también algunos movimientos (suaves) para que el aceite penetrara bien. Pasados unos minutos, activé los botones que se pulsan al cerrar las puertas. El ventilador aún no giraba, pero con un pequeño empujón empezó a hacerlo. Respiré aliviado, si el motor no estaba quemado había esperanza. Lo dejé girar un rato, luego reduje la velocidad y volví a intentarlo. El ventilador respondió al instante.

Task solved! The equipment was running normally again. I saved myself who knows how much money and can once again enjoy a cold drink and home cooked food, which I don't do out of laziness (hahaha) but I always have cheese, ham, some meat or things that cook easily.
¡Tarea resuelta! El equipo volvía a funcionar con normalidad. Me ahorré quién sabe cuánto dinero y puedo volver a disfrutar de una bebida fría y comida casera, cosa que no hago por pereza (jajaja) pero siempre tengo queso, jamón, algo de carne o cosas que se cocinan fácilmente.

@cre47iv3 Siempre me ha parecido una buena idea el saber reparar las cosas de la casa, incluso a veces quisiera saber cómo puedo reparar audífonos, tengo varios pero no poseo los materiales para hacerlo ni tan poco la experiencia. Me alegra que pudieras repararlo. Saludos 🤗
Los audifonos son un problema... Parecen practicamente descartables, no es imposible repararlos ni necesitas demasiadas herramientas, solo un soldador, estaño y comprar alguna ficha en alguna casa de electronica
Yo igualmente decidi que mis proximos audifonos van a ser inalambricos, son mucho mas caros pero tengo buenas recomendaciones
