Espero se encuentren bien, el día hoy voy a contarles un poco sobre como un cambio en las cortinas, da un aire totalmente diferente a cualquier habitación o a cualquier área de nuestro hogar, agregando color, luminosidad y haciendo el ambiente más agradable. En casa teníamos en el comedor unas cortinas blancas bastantes normales, pero me parecía que se veían aburridas y a pesar de ser blancas no permitían el paso de luz natural al comedor. Entonces decidí reformar otras cortinas que tenía y realizar otras para agregarle un toque de color a el comedor.
Hello friends of Home solutions! I hope you are well, today I am going to tell you a little about how a change in the curtains, gives a totally different air to any room or any area of our home, adding color, brightness and making the environment more pleasant. At home we had some pretty normal white curtains in the dining room, but I thought they looked boring and even though they were white they didn't let natural light into the dining room. So I decided to refurbish other curtains I had and make new ones to add a touch of color to the dining room.
Comencé sobreponiendo las dos cortinas (transparente y una más clara) y luego cosí ambas cortinas por los extremos y área superior.
I started by overlapping the two curtains (sheer and a lighter one) and then sewed both curtains at the ends and top area.
Después de cosidas, tomámos como guía las líneas horizontales de la cortina y basteamos cada 3 líneas.
After sewing, we take as a guide the horizontal lines of the curtain and we baste every 3 lines.
Ahora, cosemos con la máquina por la línea de basteado y después cortamos la cortina de abajo.
Now, we sew with the machine along the baste line and then cut the bottom curtain.
Nos quedará un área (que abarcará 3 líneas horizontales) para permitir que entre la luz natural. Y como mi ventana no es muy grande solo corte dos zonas de la cortina de abajo.
We will be left with an area (which will span 3 horizontal lines) to allow natural light in. And since my window is not very big, I only cut two areas of the curtain below.
Una vez que cortamos, procedemos hacer un dobladillo para que quede bien prolijo.
Once cut, we proceed to make a hem so that it is neat.
Luego, las colocamos en el cortinero y en el extremo colocamos las cortinas blancas que estaban anteriormente. Y listo!
Then, we place them on the curtain rod and at the end we place the white curtains that were previously there. And that's it!
Siento que ese simple cambio le da un toque totalmente diferente a el comedor, no sólo ahora entrará un poco más de luz, sino que el área se ve totalmente renovada, sin necesidad de invertir una gran cantidad de dinero.
I feel that this simple change gives a totally different touch to the dining room, not only now a little more light will come in, but the area looks totally renovated, without the need to invest a lot of money.
Mi consejo es que tratemos de renovar aquel objeto que tengamos en casa antes de realizar un gasto que no sea necesario y aprovechando ese proceso de renovación estimulamos nuestra creatividad.
My advice is that we try to renew that object we have at home before making an unnecessary expense and taking advantage of this renovation process we stimulate our creativity.

Yo en casa no puedo usar cortinas por las alergias de mis hijos y la niña sufre de crisis asmaticas pero me encantan y este diseño que has creado es increíble.
Si , un pequeño cambio pero se ve la diferencia , y pensar que esas cortinas doradas las tenia olvidadas en el closet jeje
