SOOLR part 30 (Lightpainting)

in Lightpainters United3 years ago

Hi Hive people,

I'm fed up with the actual curfew here in France but I need to be a bit more patient before going outside again during the night...

I received a Prism Lens FX Kaleidoscope Filter in January and I did a couple of tryouts with it.

Camera rotation/lens cap trick with a plexiglass diamond-shaped tool combined with an abstract light calligraphy (using a long green LED stripe and a short purple one).

Lightpainting created in real time, captured to the camera in one single photographic frame.
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing exept minor adjustments (lens correction profite, WB, contrast (+12)) and addition of my logo.

So, with this filter you take a picture of ... say a street light - and this amazing image would appear?

And unicorns fart glitters 😂

There's no magic in the real world :
I made this picture in my living-room, that's why the post is titled Straight Out Of My Living Room (SOOLR). I explained the process in description of the picture, maybe you didn't pay attention to it. Light calligraphy work is made hand-free. Feel free to ask if you have questions about this scpecific picture or lightpainting in general.
Thanks for your interest.

Lol. Clearly I didn't understand a word. I will have to look up "light calligraphy" and then I may be able to ask a better question. Ya see, when I see "calligraphy" I think of nibs or brushes. I never heard of "light calligraphy" before.

If you need explanations about lightpainting :

Light calligraphy is calligraphy applied to lightpainting. I use a photography instead of a paper sheet and I wokd in 3D instead of 2D in "classic" calligraphy.
