A night on the old coal mine trail - lightpainting on Hive

in Lightpainters United3 years ago

I live in an area which used to be a major coal field employing thousands of people with thriving communities. Unfortunately, the mines were closed one by one and the old waste lands left behind were left to rot. But fortunately for me, they left one or two of the tunnels intact

And for reasons I haven't found out yet, someone has placed a hand sculpture right in the middle of the park which was formerly the coal mine.

I'll be back here again very soon with a full compliment of fully charged batteries, unlike this evening where the cold affected all the batteries I had with me....

About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
