The Clipstone Acropolis - lightpainting an abandoned water tower

in Lightpainters United3 years ago

I saw this old abandoned railway engine water tower on Google images recently and figured out it wasn't too far from me for my daily (or nightly) excercise. Quite why I never knew this existed so close to me is a mystery.

This image consists of 180 shots of 20 second exposures at f4, ISO1000. The red lighting was made with an extra exposure of a couple of minutes while I wandered around the inside of this enormous structure with a red gelled flashlight.

I will be returning here on a non moonlit night!

About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
