I'm lucky enough to live very close to Roche Abbey, an ancient monastery sacked by King Henry VIII in around 1536 I understand. (My date may be slightly off). It also makes a very good place to go waving lights in the dark.
This is a mid exposure lens and tripod swap in one of the arches and mixed it with a doorway. The drizzle of rain added a bit extra when lit with a flashgun.
This is my lightpainting brother, Phill Fisher on a brief visit to the north of England:
This is also Phill looking he's just escaped from the monks:
And finally, this is probably my favourite image from Roche where we got lucky with the position of the moon: I would have used this as the first image but portrait format shots don't look too great in the Hive thumbnails...
All of the above were shot in one photographic exposure and are not Photoshop creations!
About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
