Here are three of my favorite photos taken with a cycloid tool that I built in 2011 consisting of a circular wooden board with circular LED fixtures attached to it, rotating on a paint roller handle.
The white LEDs had color gels glued in. I still find the spectrum of color gels more appealing than RGB LEDs.
Unfortunately the tool fell in a pond many years ago after the handle broke off under heavy use. Many have used a bicicle wheel for similar effects which has the advantage of being ready for all terrains, unique this lost relique.
