In September 2019 I spent a night at the beach light painting. This is one of the last ones before I fell asleep on the sand. The orange street lights at the entrance of this beach in Sintra, Portugal made it look like Mars. I accentuated that effect with warmish white balance. I often hear night photographers complaining about light pollution but I think orange is not an ugly color. Especially when used with complementary colors. That's why I added a touch of blue with a powerful diffused light to create a strong silhouette and a focused torch pointing up for the "signal".

Sintra is one of the most beautiful place I've ever visited 😎
Yeah man. It sure is. Wonderful nature. Also there are lots of really big abandoned houses if you know where to look. Unfortunately many of them are sealed now.. They used to have raves in such abandoned houses.. Not anymore.
Portugal would be a pretty nice destination for a collective LP trip 😎
Cool, I don't mind the orange with LP but not keen when used on a star trail shot..
Yeah, not good then.
I had a chance to visit the gallery. great shots My friend. follow!
