I expect the tariffs President Trump has been using as bludgeons to prevent other countries from engaging with Cuba commercially will be overturned by the courts by the end of the month. Cuba should prepare for this change in commercial markets and approach countries that have been hesitant to face tariffs in order to do business with Cuba with offers that will come into force upon the SCOTUS reversal of the punitive tariffs. I know this isn't something you can yourself do, but I thought to mention it to you, because I know you have a strong grasp of international affairs and would be interested.

This is an important potential development that I will follow. Yet I think that in the Cuban case, Trump could turn (again) to direct threats to countries like Mexico, which is the only one able to or with the actual disposition to continue "feeding" us with oil. Russia could also help, but its shipments are irregular and, for a full year, non-representative. Thanks for this information and always for your regular and sound feedback here.
