Hi, friends!
It was such a challenging weekend behind my co-driver Damir P and myself in Germany, Austria and Czech Republic because all these three countries hosted their parts of penultimate event of this year's World Rally Championship.
We didn't have any testing ahead of rally because we thought to use shakedown for five passes to adapt to tarmac setup because last time we drove tarmac setup was at Croatia Rally in April where we finished 11th in WRC3, one place away of points.
Organizer posted bulletin very late (when we were already at recce) that shakedown will be only for WRC1 and WRC2 crews which meant we lost any chance of trying car at full attack before the rally start.
Yeah, we started super special stage close to Prague, Czech Republic and that first kms were used as a testing/training which is completely wrong and should not be repeated that way. We found out that handbrake didn't work properly and we struggled massively at the roundabout.
Next two days were keeping the car on the road because tarmac roads were extremely firty because of multiple cuts and without testing, it could not be the best effort.
At one point of Saturday, we found out that pace is coming back but at the very next stage we heard RRRRR sound from transmision. It was a clutch which was slipping at the full throttle. Yeah, that kart circuit at Split destroyed little bit a clutch but we didn't know what was wrong because we thought it was maybe a driveshaft.
Guys in the service found out that the clutch was problematic and offered two solutions: first to take a Super Rally rule with time penalty for clutch replacement or second, to go whole Sunday in slow mode, preserve our 8th place in WRC3 and finish the rally without penalties.
We opted for a slower Sunday and safe 8th place and our first four points in WRC3 class.

Some cool pics, the car looks awesome. I've never been to watch a proper rally but I'd like to. Unlucky with the clutch, these things happen
Thanks :)
Congratulations on the points! Sorry that taking the Hiverfesters around that track wore the car out :( Hope it's all sorted for the next outing.
