I feel terribly disappointed after super exausting week in Germany, Austria and Czech Republic.
Everything started according to plans. I made all the usual preparations with lots of gym time, simulator trainings for at least one month and whole preparations before each event lasts for approx 2 months of work.

So we came to Germany on last Sunday late because tomorrow (on Monday) we had documents verification and later same day there was a recce for shakedown and first two stages (one special stage repeated twice). We did it good and went to the room that my co-driver and me can make notes repairs by watching the onboards we did by ourself with GoPro which was inside of our car. To be honest, I never did that more professionaly.

Tuesday and Wednesday were completely reserved for recce which wasn't that tough as on some previous events like Monte Carlo Rallye, and some tough gravel rallies.

Our team came on Tuesday evening because the next day, while we were on recce, they had scrutineering. And we went Wednesday morning on recce, completed it until 3pm at Czech Republic and started our journey back to service park which was in Passau, Germany.

During our trip back, while my co-driver was driving the recce car, I texted our team boss to see if everything is ok at the scrutineering. And I didn't get an answer for some time. I felt worried because something could go wrong. We never had any bigger technical problem on the races and I expected more of the same this time.

And then I got a call from our team boss who told me that FIA scrutineers are not happy with repairs our bodyshop mechanics did after WRC Rally Sardinia. They found out that the bar which connects two moulds between rear wheels does not match the manufacturer's measurements. Yeah, our welders had to cut the welds to make the geometry of car right and that's why it wasn't later in the measures.

FIA scrutineers told the team boss that we have to contact the M-Sport Poland and ask them can they repair the car until the next morning. Their boss Maciej Woda came to our service box to see what is all about and told us that they don't have the parts with themself and that they repair roll cages only at their headquarters. I felt devastated after I heard that.

But what could we do except to promote our Hive as best as possible. That's why we were there. We decided to let the car be at the service park until the end of event to show it to hundreds of thousands people who visited this World Rally Championship event and to onboard new Hiveans. To be honest, I didn't know how hard and big work it is to onboard bigger crowd of people who was visited us in the service park because people don't understand much about keys and they can't understand that if the keys are lost, there is no turning back. Everything is still connected to e-mail adresses in their internet world. Lots of people are still strangers to the world of crypto. But we did it.

I must say a big applause to @driipam who was working from morning until midnight on explaining and onboarding new Hiveans. So, new people are here, some started posting and I can only hope that the rest will do the same these days.

@driipam will make a post with Hiveans and we invite you to give them a warm welcome on their first posts.

I felt terrible of no start after such a big work ahead of event (still licking my wounds and I will do the same for some time) but what could we do?! We just tried to save some money with no sending the car to M-Sport for repairs in the first place. They made the chassis and roll cage and they have the certificates needed for everything when they have to repair parts connected with the roll cage.

So it was tough week, terrible weekend but I hope that new Hiveans will find themselves at home at Hive (like I did from 2016) and that our community will grow even bigger. I am sorry to everyone.
And to Hive I can send only ❤️.

That's tough, but I guess they have to stick to the rules. Rallying is such a technical support.

I saw you brought in some new people. We need to build up the rally community, but they will have other interests too.
