Max McRae comes from family with rich rallying heritage. His father, grandpa and uncle were all British rally champions while father and uncle Colin were works drivers in the World Rally Championship. Colin McRae was probably the most popular driver of all time in rallying with the driver's crown in 1995.
Last few seasons, Max was driving ERC in Rally4 machinery and British Rally Championship with Rally2 machinery, but occasionaly.
This season he stepped to Rally2 car in British national series and they lately revealed that he will tackle all remaining rounds of ERC (from Rally Hungary).
With such a mentors in father and uncle, some bigger results could come in shape in following seasons.
