Sometimes it's the little things people do for us that touches the deepest part of our soul.
Tamara my very little friend came to spend the day with me in my office and she was nothing but a great companion.
From the little chit chats, to many curious questions, to endless laughter, to assisting me pin some fabric and watching out for me.
She understood the assignment, unlike other minors who would give you nothing but stress, Tamara was the perfect person for me.
I ensured I also made her day by buying her treats.
I have a mall adjacent my office, during our conversation I learned she hadn't tasted a parfait before.
So I gave her money to get one for herself and also any chocolate of her choice.
Her face beamed with so much joy and I could tell she wouldn't forget today in a hurry.
I had a taste from the parfait and it was quite delicious and very chilled.
The fillers were nice too. She asked if she could come over next holiday season and I replied with the affirmative.
This is a reminder that life is a give and take thing. Make it your aim not to always take from people without giving them in return, no matter how small it may be.
While you're filling their cup, make sure yours isn't empty too and always remember that tiny gestures like holding the door for a person, wearing a smile, giving kind compliments really goes a long way in people's life. They might be going through a lot, and only that kind gesture can help them through the day. Be kind always.
