The beautiful things in life are free. And simplicity is a form of love. It's often the little things in life that matter.
I and Jennifer were heading home from service today when she handed me this beautiful flower randomly.
It was the motive behind it that meant a lot to me even though it didn't cost a dime.
Although I saw her plucking it, I thought she wanted to just play with it until she said.. "This is for you, I know you love flowers!"
I love it when people take note of the little things that bring you happiness. She knows how much I love gardens and flowers in general.
It felt good to know there are people who are intentional about your happiness.
I received the flower with so much excitement and documented it like I've always done. There's always an inspiration behind every post haha.
It might just be a flower, but it's a symbol of love and friendship.
This is a proof that being thoughtful doesn't cost a dime. It could be just a smile, a hug, holding the door for someone, offering them a genuine compliment or offering them a listening ear.
It's about being generous with our time, energy, intentions and even emotions. Letting people around us know that they are seen and valued.
Thoughtfulness means seeing the other person feeling good around you.
If we take a moment to stay thoughtful everyday, the world would be more beautiful.
Make it your aim to stay thoughtful because,many people are just hanging on a tiny thread of hope to keep alive.
Being thoughtful also mean bridling our tongue and being gracious with the words of our mouth. May we make it a goal to let people around us feel loved and appreciated. Letting them know they matter even in the littest details they've shared with us.
