I often passed by a spot by the roadside where an old grey heir man always washes cars, not like it's a normal site for business, you can guess just by the look of it that he's just doing this for survival, just to get by daily, I felt touched that he's doing this hard work in his old age when he should be resting or doing less stressful jobs, and everytime I pass this place he's always watching one car or another.
Immediately this sense struck me that life is structured and pattern in a way that there are systems and processes that are very necessary that we go through, you can't boycot any of these processes and if you do, you can get away for a while but definitely you must somehow someday return to complete the missing process, life has a way of bringing us back to complete the missing link and that is why we see everyday as we step out there... seeing people that by right are not suppose to be were they are but somehow life happens to them and they are were they are now, back to the spot they left many years back.
I am more deeply concerned about older people who are by far suppose to be enjoying the fruit of their labour, reaping the dividend of thier youthful toil, living off their investments and years of hardwork when they were young, but when I see them now doing the opposite it always get to me and I wish earnestly to go closer to them and hear them speak their heart to me, what happened, what did they do and not do, how did life happens, did they live life to chance?, a popular man of God would say, if you leave life to chance you don't have a chance and if you don't have a chance you bite your fingers in old age
you see a lot of young people live life as if they'd remain that way forever, not realizing that time is sliping away minutes by minutes, each day , each week each month and years is counting without we realizing it,
I stated this and there is no better way to put it, don't just live life don't just be in that company as a staff, don't just be doing business , don't just exist but let every day count as you wake with a new sense of purpose, a drive , a vision, something you're constantly pursuing, something you live for everyday, be intentional about life that every day is adding up to something for you in one way or another.
i thought about the old grey heired man washing cars obviously in his early 60's or late 50's probably he wasn't lazy or maybe he was hardworking, doing all he could but life wasn't adding up, probably he let go of a life changing opportunity or maybe he wasn't so kin on tomorrow just about what he could get and stay comfortable or maybe he was wealthy or had connections but fail to utilize what would secure his later says in life, lots and lots of maybes ran through my mind what really happened?
I then came to a final conclusion that is "Fears Of The Unknown" the thin line between Risk and uncertainty, there are basically two kinds of people in life one is the one with the daring mindset who wants to take on any available opportunity who is never satisfied. always going out for more and another who is just okay with what he has where he is, just comfortable there, no future plans no ambition or perspective whatsoever, it's not about which one you belong these are determined by your actions and inactions and the consequences or results is what you will face in the later years of your life.....
the average human relies to learn from experience, I see that insight, foresight our perception of things is the problem we see without understanding, we hear but do not pay attention even when its screaming at our faces, we care less untill it happens to us, what happen to learning from other people's experiences and making necessary adjustments, often we believe its their fate untill we are trap, not realizing early enough that life is runned on principles nothing is ever knew under the sun, somehow we are recycling same old patterns and systems with slight improvement, I have however come to the conclusion that fears of the unknown is what keeps people rooted where they are, afraid of risk and uncertainty makes people feel it's better to hold unto what I have and what I know than daring to go beyind the horizon and to explore new opportunities.
