Restaurant dinners and pre-packaged food is increasing outrageously in price. So many people want to blame "greedy capitalists" as if some psychological force triggered a mystery wave of greed. Few want to understand money supply inflation from basic money creation and more complicated credit expansion, or the way government regulation and tax policy created our modern corporate oligarchy. I anticipate a sudden shift from "No, seriously, we have one of the strongest economic outlooks ever," to, "Oh, it's all kinda f**ked," at some point in 2024 even from the likes of Paul Krugman.
