I was struck by an image of someone, I guess me, enclosed in a bubble of darkness pushing desperately against the bubble seeking always to contract and suffocate me in a cocoon. In the image I was surrounded by lifeless cocoons, and in the middle and near distance were other bubbles, myriad cocoons, and the surroundings were not darkness but light. Only the bubbles were darkness and once we are unable to push the contracting bubbles back, our lifeless husk is left behind inside the cocoon, while we escape the bubble into the infinite light.
