What's the point of HIVE?! Welcome to the Pleasuredome

Ever since James Corbett turned me on to meet a decentralized blockchain while I was looking for an uncensorable opportunity online, i've been here on Steem/Hive.

  • Firstly, to go as far away from Goolag, Amagoon and all the other oligarchs as well as to be sure that my rebellious point of view stays safely online as long as there is internet.
  • And second, to take a look at the new world of crypto.

You never know what tools might be used will be needed to support our long-sought necessary change in social structure for a more peaceful coexistence on GAÏA.

BTW - James isn't on Hive anymore... maybe that was a first sign?

What a ride this has been, is, and probably always will be. At least until the certain death of this first second umpteenth mirrored version of real life. It would be too good to be true, if an internet community would be able to get rid of the personal ego-selfish-ego and create an objective friendly social structure.

It's just, one of the big problems, again, the value $y$tem. Mankind has long preferred gold to the spiritual. Too much pain and suffering to work on oneself, create one's own life and then live it.

This blockchain is nothing else. Too much ego, too much power brings the true human being to light. Violent, egoistic, ignorant and arrogant... the basic markings of a sleeping consciousness.

You think I am exaggerating...?! Maybe, maybe not. But the history of this "immutable" blockchain contains a lot of information and stories that document this disturbing picture of man. Okay, let me ask a few questions first?

  • How can it be that someone else can decide, if my little voice that just voted for a blog I like and agree with in some way, that's not rewarded for it?
  • How can it be that selfishness, revenge and retaliation drives over my personal opinion and kills the reward I agreed with?
  • How can it be that the "marketing" of this blockchain advertises with uncensorable, while supporting a certain kind of censorship?

Starting with the very beginning of the Steemit debacle that led to the community split on to Hive, i've been watching consciously the way users communicate, especially the witnesses.

Since i give racism, fascist ideas, slander and insults a wide berth, i've started muting the accounts whose users regularly have an inappropriate and/or insulting way of communication. Life really is too short for stupid chatter.

Now, remember when @dan wrote so nicely back in Steem days:

Steem has excellent security on accounts, but very poor governance. The community reward pool is the preverbal wallet on the park bench. Those who are voting for themselves and hiding behind pseudo-anonymous accounts are thieves stealing from the community. Those censoring posts on EOS through use of down votes of posts that decline rewards are not held accountable to community standards of behavior.

With proper governance the Steem reward pool would not be pilfered for private gain. Achieving this requires much stronger transparency with identity verification and dispute resolution systems combined with incentive structures that disincentives self-voting (like n2 curve).

But it shouldn't be different on Hive. More wars between small fishes, dolphins and whales... and the more the small fishes become rebels, the greater the egoism of the self-appointed blockchain police and their lackeys, with the support of the "rich".

Hm, don't i know that behaviour already from somewhere...

Like @por500bolos, for example, who has been living too much of all this lately. He is, in my view, one of a dying breed of comedians. A lateral thinker, important and necessary in this God-forsaken time of psychological rape of the masses.

He describes himself as:
A cranky humorous ol'fart techy & kinda pauper steemian full of strong reality opinions. Life philosopher, sometimes ironic by conviction & sarcastic as a duty.

How can you annoy someone who already assures us in his profile to find irony and sarcasm in his blogs, with unexplained regular reward withdrawals. Worst of all, it seems no one gives a shit and/or moves on to their daily whale ass crawling without a shrug. After all, it's for the best of Hive and its communities. And they sure know what's good for it. Find the Sarcasm

Or like @kennyskitchen for example, who became the target of a down-vote war that went so far, that he turned his back on this "so friendly" Blockchain. His support of the Blockchain community was widely known and appreciated. Until the day someone felt Kenny was getting way too much rewards. To see what I am talking about, here is a link where he writes out his view-point on downvotes.

Or like @doze, for example, who asked the community a few important questions... with no concrete answers to date.

Or like the "newbie" @charlissy, for example, who after only a short time questions Hive about the way all this voting is handled...

And so on and so forth. You can find thousands and thousands of wrong behaviours on the chain... maybe one good thing the whole thing is immutable. Just takes a bit of time to research, if ever you really want to go down that rabbit hole.

Conclusions:

As long as the masses let their consciousness sleep, as long as the masses prefer gold to the free mind, even tools like Blockchains, which have the potential to overthrow the governments and capitalist structures of the world, will have no real success.

Long live ABC!!!
