The Gunning Fog Readability Index provides a valuable metric for assessing the complexity of written content. By considering the average number of words per sentence and the percentage of complex words, this index offers insights into the readability of a given text. This comprehensive guide explores the Gunning Fog formula, interpretation of scores, and practical applications to empower writers and educators in optimizing their communication. All my life, my Mom just told me the 'Fog Index' was created so everyone could understand each other. No matter how smart, or where they came from. That site above tells you in a very complex way... I liked my mom's explanation better lol. But honest... I am curious of something...
