Your post really made me teary, I remember before I got married, i went to a cousin wedding and my aunt insulted me because she felt I should have gotten married since 😊😊i was way older than her daughters that are all married,I also grow up in the north and I know how girl child are treated, my parent gave birth to 5 girls, 1 boy and i know how my mother was treated, but they never relented in giving us the education we needed despite the critism. thanks for bringing this topic up.
