Your life has been a long journey with lots of ups and downs. It happens to the best of us, the fear of the Unknown, the fear of leaving our comfort zones and venturing into unfamiliar terrains buy eventually we find our bearing and settle in.
What I'm mostly glad about is the fact that your reconciled with your father and all is well now.
