¡Saludos! este es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad fui informada de este concurso por una buena amiga y decidí probar, vi también en mi feed mucho de las participaciones del concurso pasado y el trabajo que han realizado es increíble a todas les extiendo mi admiración por el excelente trabajo.
Greetings! this is my first publication in this community I was informed of this contest by a good friend and decided to try, I also saw in my feed much of the entries of the last contest and the work you have done is amazing to all I extend my admiration for the excellent work.
Admito que no conozco mucho de la cultura vikingas más que un poco de mitología, pero obviamente conozco la apariencia de estos guerreros al menos la mostrada en múltiples películas del genero de guerra, según mi investigación si maquillaje era realizado con barro, hierbas y grasa animal y que además del aspecto estético su segunda función era de protegerlos del sol.
I admit that I do not know much about the Viking culture more than a little mythology, but obviously I know the appearance of these warriors at least the one shown in multiple films of the war genre, according to my research if makeup was made with mud, herbs and animal fat and that in addition to the aesthetic aspect its second function was to protect them from the sun.
Para realizar mi maquillaje me inspire en muchas de las imágenes de maquillaje vikingo de la red y comencé entonces dibujando algunas líneas horizontales sobre mis mejillas, quise mantener el tono natural de mi piel por eso no coloque ningún tipo de base, Luego repetí el mismo patrón de líneas del otro la de mi mejilla y dibuje un triángulo invertido sobre mi frente.
To do my makeup I was inspired by many of the Viking makeup images on the net and I started by drawing some horizontal lines on my cheeks, I wanted to keep the natural tone of my skin so I didn't put any base, then I repeated the same pattern of lines on the other side of my cheek and drew an inverted triangle on my forehead.
EL detalle más importante que he observado en la mayoría de los maquillajes es que usualmente los ojos tienen un tono muy acentuado la mayoría cubriendo ambos parpados, yo comencé usando lápiz de ojos negro para este fin.
THE most important detail I have noticed in most of the makeups is that usually the eyes have a very accentuated tone mostly covering both eyelids, I started using black eye pencil for this purpose.
Sin embargo, no se apreciaba lo suficientemente oscuro en la fotografía por lo que opte por delineador de ojos en forma líquida para pintar mis parpados negros, también con ese mismo delineador he remarcado y definido las líneas de mis mejillas, mentón y demás detalles del maquillaje.
However, it didn't look dark enough in the picture so I opted for liquid eyeliner to paint my eyelids black, also with that same eyeliner I have highlighted and defined the lines of my cheeks, chin and other details of the makeup.
Seguidamente con una brocha gruesa comencé a colorear con sombras de ojos violeta y azul sobre toda el área de mis ojos, para finalizar aplique mascara de pestañas y añadí algunas cadenas para completar el look.
Then with a thick brush I started to color with violet and blue eyeshadows all over my eye area, to finish I applied mascara and added some chains to complete the look.
A continuación, procedí a tomar algunas fotografías del resultado de este maquillaje, me ha gustado mucho hacerlo, aunque fue muy sencillo creo que he logrado un bonito resultado, como toque adicional edite algunas fotografías para hacer mis iris blancos y me ha encantado, también me volví una hechicera en alguna de ellas, espero les guste el resultado.
Then I proceeded to take some pictures of the result of this makeup, I really liked doing it, although it was very simple I think I have achieved a nice result, as an additional touch I edited some pictures to make my irises white and I loved it, I also became a sorceress in some of them, I hope you like the result.
