A MONTH WITHOUT GAS AND ELECTRICITY

This is me answering to a prompt on hive student connect
A month without gas or electricity would be very difficult and frustrating because these two resources are essential to daily life.
Thinking outside of my own knowledge and experience, I believe I could survive without gas in my house because where I live, we often use firewood for cooking and can manage that way. However, when it comes to electricity, it would be much harder and almost unbearable. Without electricity, we wouldn't be able to charge our phones or laptops, which are essential for creating content or staying connected on social media. We'd also have no access to television, which many people rely on for news and entertainment. Furthermore, electricity is vital for pumping water, and without it, we would have no access to water, which is life. In such a situation, things could become very difficult, and in extreme cases, it could even lead to serious consequences or loss of life.
In summary, a month without gas and especially without electricity would be extremely challenging and nearly impossible for many people because both are crucial to everyday living.

This kind of situation reminds me of the saying you don't know what you have until it's gone. But it helps us realize our adaptive skills as humans and how to cope with whatever life presents us with

I agree a month without electricity would be very challenging. I think back to the times when there was no such thing and people had to.Heat their own homes with just wood or coal and cook with the same. We are very blessed to have the luxuries that we have, but sometimes getting back to basics might teach us a lesson.
