I really don't care what people think about me or the kind of assumptions they make about me because based on my experience as an adult most people just come up with different assumptions without even having a close relationship with you. Hence, it has come to a point where no matter what people think about you it's their choice as long as the people you care about and love genuinely knows the truth about you and they also believe your truth.
This idea of judging someone or making clueless assumptions was a trend on social media one time, that whatever you hear about me accept it like that because I got no time to explain myself since that person decided to listen to rumors or gossips about me. Although, there are harmless assumptions that people can make based on your personality but what is wrong is when people start making negative comments about what you do not project at all.
Based on my personality as an introvert and a quiet person, people have always make the assumption that because I am quiet and not so sure i do not have the capability to have great ambitions or big plans for my future, one thing they fail to realize is that introverts are quiet and observant people who requires their own space as the Deep thinkers that they are and also wants to partake in meaningful conversations.
As an introvert, we are creative in private and when we do want to explore our ambitions we take it to an extremely level because we have sat down and done thorough research before engaging in some tasks.
So, it's totally wrong when people claim that because an introvert is shy and not a talkative, it equates to not make it progress in life. Truly, not everything I do shows on the outside because I love my privacy and just prefer to move in silence with my small circle friends and family. I am glad that such assumptions do not work on me because so far I have achieved even more than what extrovert can based on career, education, financial stability and so many more.
In conclusion, it is okay to not judge or make assumptions of people based on what you see because you have no experience of what they have been through in life to make them want to take the path of either being silent or loud about their life choices. In this life, I am too busy to correct anything, so whatever assumptions they make about me is fine, I do not care because people that love me knows me...

This is a wonderful approach because, frankly, no matter what you say, people will always hold on to their assumptions about you as facts. But I'm glad that in your case, your life reflects the opposite of what they assume. There's no greater correction than this.
