When we meet people we expect some certain qualities based on the kinds of friendship we have with them. The kind of friendship best friends would keep will be different from the type work colleagues will keep.
Best friends would expect total honesty in their relationship but this would not be a necessity amongst work colleagues, who are just there to do their job and retire home after the days work. There are different qualities to expect in a friend or study partner and these can include: honesty, intelligence, kind, accommodating, motivational and someone with a great sense of communication.
Choosing a study partner back then in school meant that as a group or a duo you were ready to invest your time in studying so that you would get good grades at the end of the semester. It would mean more than just friends for fun or games but one that is beyond that.
Qualities I look for in a study partner is someone who is focused and intelligent enough to want to study more. I hate a one sided study partner relationship where I would have to bug you to study and partake in discussing our course but one that is up and doing ready to keep to time study schedules.
I like an open person that would be honest and not hoard information on subject matters or anything that would help us to come out in flying colors. This is where honesty comes to play. I remember back in university I had a friend that we study together, at my convenient time, i would make notes on lectures we have received from online sources so that they would be distinct, unique and detailed whenever we want to answer exam questions. I would share this with my friend so that she can have ideas of important keywords in that course.
Unfortunately, one day she stepped out to get snacks and I happened to check her bag because I was looking for a pen and I found that that she was also doing the same thing but has refused to show them to me.
This made me withdraw myself because people like only want to achieve success for themselves by gaining from others and adding to theirs.
In conclusion, I Want a study partner that would be open to communicate ideas, test and quiz each other, review past questions, discuss subjects, motivate one another and be honest to each other.

I don't like it when people aren't honest in their dealings. Its actually difficult to keep friends because of this
