It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 21st edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. Hive Student Connect is a community where students on Hive share their blogs. It is a vibrant space for Hive students to engage, learn, connect, and collaborate, fostering growth and development.

"A Month Without Electricity, Water or Gas."
Imagine a scenario where you wake up one morning and discover that electricity, water and gas are gone, not for a day, not for a week, but for a whole month. There was no prior notice or warning and no preparation whatsoever. In a world of social media and the internet, almost everyone works on their gadgets. How would you survive? This prompt wants you to step into that reality and describe how your life would change, be affected and how you'd cope.
Think about how your business would be affected, how your daily routine would be affected, and how your side gigs online would be halted. How would you cook? bathe? study? Charge your phone? Sleep or move around? Would you struggle at first? Would you get sick? Would you adapt quickly? Who or what would you depend on?
Here is a guide to help your writing while considering these questions for easy flow:
- What would be your reaction when you discover such a condition?
- What’s the hardest thing to lose first - light, water or cooking gas?
- Would there be an alternative to cook, bathe, work, or study during this period?
- Would there be anyone to support you during this period?
- What habits would you be forced to change and adapt to?
- Is there any one of these you would miss the most? Why that?
- What lessons would this experience teach you about life and these things?
Let's see how wild your imagination goes, and we truly want to know how you'd survive. It's time to explore our survival skills.
