A friend I bumped into.

Please can you give me a shot. A young, fair and pretty lady walked up to me, handing over her phone to me.

I looked at her with this surprise written all over my face, I couldn't believe it myself as I looked her in the eye with her trying to give me her phone.

I am sorry I can't snap you. My reply to her was like an electric shock to her as she couldn't believe I declined her request.

Why? She asked in a simple word.

I don't just do what you are asking me to do. I replied.

But it's nothing she exclaimed trying to hand over the phone one more time but this time I just walked away from her. She couldn't believe her eyes.

Hey, she followed me.
I turned and said to her please get someone to do that. I am not photogenic. I tried to explain to her.

But you are not the one posing for the picture. That is exactly what I am talking about. I don't snap and I also don't snap pictures of people.
Well it's you that I want. She persisted.

After much pestilence. I decided to honour her request out of my will.

I collected the phone that she posed for a shot after 3 shots. I handed over her phone to her but she said I have not even started. I just smiled and said that's how far I can go, so if you are willing to continue then you will have to look for someone else to help you with that.

Owk, then let's snap together. She placed another request. I just laughed and said if I can't snap someone how do you expect me to pose for someone to snap?
What kind of human are you? She asked.

As she snapped a selfie with me in it.

A normal human, my reply made her laugh as she followed me as we waited for a trycicle that will convey us to our lecture venue. She chatted with me until we got to the lecture room where we sat to receive lectures and trust me that girl happened to be my only friend and a good one at that she was more like a sister, girlfriend and my lover all mixed up in one feeling.

I could remember a girl once walking up to me when she noticed Doris was not around me asking after Doris and her statement was “I would have loved to have you as my guy but Doris will never give you a space" I just smiled at that statement not long she saw Doris coming towards us then she left with a lawn face.

Of course, Doris never allowed other ladies to come close as we were always together.
We couldn't tell if we were into each other or not but we protected each other until the day of our graduation when we left to our various homes. We still speak as good friends as she is currently married with 2 kids but this is a friend I don't think I will ever forget.
