Hi hivers..!! How are you fairing? And your day too? Hope it was well spent.. So, I will be sharing with you guys on how about my first defense in school.. keep reading;

Am a student of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. Am currently a 100 level student. I must confess that school life hasn't been easy because it comes with alot of school struggles, stress, anxiety, nervousness, etc. With the picture above, it entails about a stressful lectures day and I also had a project defense that same day.

At first, I felt so nervous about everything, which includes on how to overcome stage fright. When lecturer walked in, I muttered little prayers before he called on the people for the defense. To be honest, what added to my nervousness was the lecturer. He is a very strict and rude man. Only his opinions speaks and doesn't consider students and how the feel. He actually told us that the defense is our C/A (Continuous Assessment) which is worth 30 marks.

Soon enough, we began the defense. He spoke to some students who defended rudely, and scored them low mark. It triggered me more to be nervous and my heart began to race speedily.😂Before I could knew it, it was my turn. Guess what? I killed that anxiety and nervousness.. I began to speak and explain the topic context. I spoke with enough boldness in me that the lecturer began to throw more questions at me. I answered them all with the little knowledge I had and the man was surprised. He asked the class to clap for me and everyone did.

I was literally surprised too.. This is because I didn't even expect such boldness from myself. All I could do was just to smile and thank God for the boldness and grace he gave me. So, I got my 30 marks in full and it was so happy.. My girlfriend was so happy for me too, so she bought snacks for me and I was so grateful to her. She's indeed a kind of friend everyone should have. It's indeed a memorable day in school because it was a day of joy, happiness, and gladness..
