Postive and negative side of assumptions

Assumptions are things people believe they're right even though they're a no concrete evidence. Assumptions can be right and wrong and sometimes someone can come and assume one crazy stuff without knowing your story which lead to misunderstanding.

Here's a popular story many of us may know of the popular rapper and dancer Michael Jackson who had a skin disease"Vitiligo" where some parts of the skin appear lighter than the others but some assume that he wanted to c

hange his color and be a white man.

Assumptions can be annoying most times, as one day I was going through my books, my friends saw me and assumed I was pressing my phone inside my book. I was annoyed when he said such gibberish thing. because he's not my parents I could hide my phone in a book all to pretend to be reading, I shunned him and we had a very misunderstanding that day. Assumptions can bring problems and even lead to conflict. Some assumptions are unnecessary and also matter of approach matters during assumptions as you may never know the full story about the person. And yea, assumptions people make about and like yeah, how do they know? Like I was speaking one day.Someone asked me if was from anambra state and affirmed positive, this wasn't because I was speaking my native tongue but .something I said caught and made him assume I was from anambra state and his guess was right. So I think there are things to consider before assuming, first one is ask self things that prompted yourself to such assumption. and possibly how the person could react and what could the put the person in guessing. These considerations are crucial, they help prevent conflict in most cases and avoid misunderstanding.

Exactly, before you assume ask questions, questions won't bite.

Some people assume things only from their shallow point of view. They don’t even put themselves in similar situations, to understand how a person might be feeling at that point in time. They just go ahead with whatever opinion they choose. It’s really annoying.
