My Side Hustle Back in School.

Many students in school find different ways of making money to support themselves without relying completely on their parents. Everyone knows that school life requires money, and as a student, having an extra source of income is important.

A side hustle is any way to earn money outside your primary job. It could be a part-time gig, a creative project, or freelance work that helps you make extra income, whether you are saving for a big goal or trying to make ends meet.

It is important to generate multiple sources of income, and since it is not a full-time job, it is a good option for students to engage in. It helps them add to the money given to them by their sponsors, and some students who sponsor themselves also do it while attending school. Some students make and sell snacks, some sell oil perfumes, some engage in affiliate marketing, while others do graphic design and other things to earn extra income.

My own way was going out with friends to play musical instruments at functions, and we were always paid. I remember in my first year, I took it very seriously, often traveling to another local government area to play and get paid. It became so serious that at a point, I noticed it had started affecting my academic performance and left me with little or no time for myself. I would wake up, rush to school, and before nightfall, I would already be preparing to go out again to play. Although it was giving me money, it was also affecting another important aspect of my life, so I decided to stop.

I only played in my church or accepted invitations for weekend events. Later, I started assisting people with their term papers and assignments. After writing them, I would type, print, and deliver to those who needed typing, and I got paid for the service.
