Welcome to another amazing week of hive student connect,in this week prompt I am given the chance to tell how I manage my money as a student.
Honestly, as a student, forget money management. Managing anything is difficult, including ourselves. Most times I feel the life of a student is all about management.
Because I don't only have to manage my money,I also have to manage my time,my food, my health and other things one doesn't even expect to at times.
But of all, managing money is the most difficult one,and honestly I am among those students that get broken before month end.
Because I have tried managing my money but I don't know how to. Most times I don't even pay all the bills and I will be left with outstanding bills, while sometimes I will pay all bills but no penny in my wallet.
But I decided that since it is difficult to manage my money as a student,the only way out is to decide on how to spend it because any month I have outstanding bills it doesn't go down well with me.
Now what I do is spend on important things and things that are urgent,as for things that are not important and urgent I let them be for the main time,then save whatever I have for rainy days.
Because as a student what you can't avoid is impromptu demands,ask you to pay for something urgently with a deadline of one or two days.
Now in situations where you don't have any money saved you get stranded with no way out, and honestly I hate time like that.
So to be on a safe side I save for days like this, avoiding being stranded with no way out and at the end of the day I have issues in the course or with the lecturer because of money which the lecturers mostly don't understand.
Having outstanding bills is worse o, I made sure not to have that during my school days. It's hard already without those, students are really trying in the management game.
I think one of hard management on earth is managing money as a student, because any little mistake it's risky

I totally agree with you, because anything can come up at any time like a book, handouts etc
