My managing method. When economy becomes mandatory Hello, beautiful ladies and gentlemen, thank you for stopping by my blog today. The question of the week says, managing money as a student. Hmm, when economy becomes mandatory, you learn to manage. I went to school with money; I mean correct money.
Back then I got twenty thousand naira every month, for my up keep aside the normal money for school runs and you know back then around 2013-2014 this amount of money is somehow good. so I didn't bother to manage anything, I was just spending and sometimes buy things that I don't even need or are not necessary to me. but when everything crashed, my daddy was duped from a very huge amount of money, so everything changed.
At that point, I knew that since the brum beating have changed, the dancing steps have to change too. So I looked for methods to use, I try saving myself, but it didn't work because I was too used to spend already, So what I did to manage money back then was I had this man in my compound; he owed a provision store.
So what I did is, whenever I received money from family, I give it to him to keep for me. And anytime I need money, I just go to him, and he records it. These acts have helped me a lot in saving and managing my money; I stopped spending anyhow, I only buy things that are very essential to me, I stopped buying unnecessary things.
And another good way of saving money or managing money is making sure I have enough food in my house. I'm not really good at saving then, but the method I used back then really helped me, and before I know it, sometimes I finish a semester and I will still have some extra cash. So this is the method I used in managing money as a student. Thank you for reading through.
Honestly I wouldn’t trust anyone with my money tho, lol
Smile, we live in the same compound, and he had a big provisions store, so at some point I feel my money is safe with him. Thanks for stopping by.
Sure
Ha, you are rich o, twenty thousand that year, my monthly allowance is 12k per month from 2017-2023. But thank God for foodstuff, I always bring enough foodstuff from home that is what really helped me when I was in school.
Smile, I went to school with a golden spoon my dear. But it later change to rubber spoon when he married a new wife.
It's good you learned how to save just after the bad incident. At least, you can boast of extra money now after holidays
Yea. I learned how to save. Thank you for stopping by.
It was good you learned how to manage money. It is a discipline we need even if we seem to have much. The strategy you employed did help you. And that's good to see.
