Hello, Hive community! I am happy to be here. My name is Ana Meštrović, and I am based in Croatia.
After writing for traditional health platforms and working in community pharmacy, I’ve decided to try out as hobby blogging.
I graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry in Zagreb, which laid the foundation for my deep dive into the world of medicine, biochemistry, and human health. For the past five years, I have been working in a community pharmacy.
Working behind the counter gives me a unique perspective. I don’t just see "patients", I see people looking for clarity in a world of confusing medical jargon and conflicting health advice. This daily interaction inspired me to take my knowledge online.

I am the founder and lead author of Famaceut.hr, a Croatian health portal where I break down complex pharmaceutical topics for the general public and answer visitors questions on forum.
Additionally, I contribute as an author to HealthState.net, where I focus on reviewing supplements and write articles on health and wellness topics.

Why Hive?
I’ve spent a lot of time writing for traditionale platforms. While they have their place, the idea of censorship-resistant information and a community-owned ecosystem is incredibly appealing.
Health information should be accessible and transparent. I’m also excited to connect with other health professionals and enthusiasts on this platform.
A bit more about me
When I’m not in the pharmacy or writing articles, I’m likely researching the latest in pharmaceutical tech or looking into how nutrition impacts long-term longevity. I believe that health is our greatest asset, but it is often the one we understand the least.
