Continuando con esta interesante iniciativa propuesta por la amiga @nathyortiz, donde nos pide que hablemos de un libro diferente durante 7 días, esta vez toca hablar de un libro de romance. Me fascina leer historia de amor porque nos hace latir el corazón fuertemente y nos hacen suspirar y sentirnos la protagonista de la historia.
Continuing with this interesting initiative proposed by our friend @nathyortiz, where she asks us to talk about a different book for 7 days, this time it's time to talk about a romance book. I love reading love stories because they make our hearts beat strongly and make us sigh and feel like the protagonist of the story.
“A orillas del río Piedra me senté y lloré” es una novela escrita por el autor Paulo Coelho, en la que el género romántico interviene en esta magnífica obra, destacando, entre otras cosas, los numerosos y difíciles obstáculos que se pueden encontrar en nuestra vida y que, al mismo tiempo, son capaces de provocar cambios significativos en ella.
"On the banks of the Piedra River I sat down and cried" is a novel written by the author Paulo Coelho, in which the romantic genre intervenes in this magnificent work, highlighting, among other things, the numerous and difficult obstacles that can be found in our life and that, at the same time, are capable of causing significant changes in it.
Esta historia narra la vida de Pilar y su amigo de la infancia, convertido en seminarista, después de 11 años se reencuentran y vuelve a nacer el amor que sentía de niños, pero esta vez de una manera diferente. Aunque siempre mantenían contacto por medio de cartas, el decide invitarla a que escuche una conferencia y allí parten de España en peregrinación hacia el Santuario de Lourdes. Deben tomar una decisión importante, y esa decisión es seguir un camino junto.
This story narrates the life of Pilar and her childhood friend, who has become a seminarian. After 11 years they meet again and the love they felt as children is reborn, but this time in a different way. Although they always kept in touch through letters, he decides to invite her to listen to a conference and they leave Spain on a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Lourdes. They must make an important decision, and that decision is to follow a path together.
Este libro es uno de mis favoritos, porque me gustan las novelas sobre el amor y la esencia de la vida, aunque está historia está llena de asuntos religiosos pienso que es muy bonita, porque se enfoca mucho en los miedos del amor de una manera delicada. Aporta mucho porque nos enseña cómo el amor no conoce fronteras, y cómo cuando dos personas se aman, no importa lo lejos que estén. También te enseña los valores sobre la amistad. Definitivamente emocionante, me conmovió bastante, sobre todo la historia del río Piedra, que dice que todo lo que el río toca se convierte en piedra.
This book is one of my favorites, because I like novels about love and the essence of life, although this story is full of religious issues I think it is very beautiful, because it focuses a lot on the fears of love in a delicate way. It brings a lot because it teaches us how love knows no boundaries, and how when two people love each other, no matter how far apart they are. It also teaches you values about friendship. Definitely touching, I was quite moved, especially the story of the river Piedra, which says that everything the river touches turns to stone.
