Está señalado como una de los eventos deportivos más grandes de la historia, comenzado por el balón Jabulani con su gran impredictibilidad, pasando por el sonido ensordecedor de las vuvuzelas, las predicciones acertadas de "Paul" el pulpo y su maravilloso himno (waka waka) que dejó una huella imborrable en el corazón de muchos.

Una de las cosas que hace a ese mundial tan especial, es que al final logré completarlo, luego de mucho trabajo, ir a subastas, intercambiar figuras, hasta dejar de comer para poder comprar sobres. Tener esa majestuosa obra de arte, era sin duda un complemento que hizo que ese mundial fuera mágico.

As a Venezuelan I have never had the privilege of supporting my national team in a World Cup. Since I was a child I grew up watching Brazil play, the pentacampeon that made me fall in love with figures like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano and Roberto Carlos. En los años venideros disfruté mucho a Brasil 2014 y Rusia 2018, pero nunca llegaría a colocar en mi esa felicidad que me generó Sudáfrica 2010.
