Sometimes we may think that recreation is simply for the youngest and smallest of the house.
But the reality is different, because we all need to get away from the monotony, we need to be distracted, have fun, rest from the hard work that the day to day gives us, we all deserve to recreate our body and our mind.
There are scenarios that meet that idea. And what better place to do it than near the sea, at the beach?
Watching the water, the waves, listening to the lapping of the waves, walking without shoes on the sand, sitting and chatting for a while with good friends in that environment, sharing a meal, swimming together, playing or just watching the immensity of the sea, makes us feel relaxed, far away from everyday life.
And this is what my wife and I enjoyed this past weekend.
A group of friends extended us a nice invitation to go to the beach, and we immediately responded without hesitation: "of course we want to go with you".
That was one of the things we wanted so much at the moment.
We were just recovering from the harsh pandemic that had kept us away from such comforting places, and had kept us at a great distance from our dear friends, and when they mentioned this trip to us, it filled us with a joy that we had missed for quite some time.
The trip was a lot of fun: we didn't want anyone to stay, we were going like canned sardines, but the happiness and the smiles didn't leave our faces.
Just to be together with good friends again, is very encouraging and that makes us very happy.
As soon as we reached the sea shore, the feeling of joy was even greater. We were able to enjoy a lot of games, walks, food, refreshments, good conversations and to strengthen the bonds of friendship and to expand our circle of friends.
Without a doubt, we had a great time, we had a great time.
The children spent most of the time in the water having a lot of fun.
By the end of the afternoon, and still sitting on the shore, we all agreed that we wished that moment could be repeated if possible once a month, because we felt how encouraged and comforted we felt.
Without a doubt, it was a well combined day: beach, sea, sand, sun, food, the good company of healthy friends and a lot of fun, were the reason for everyone's joy.
We hope it will be repeated.

A veces podemos llegar a pensar que la recreación es simplemente para los mas jóvenes y pequeños de la casa.
Pero la realidad es otra, porque todos necesitamos apartarnos un poco de la monotonía, necesitamos distraernos, divertirnos, descansar del duro trabajo que nos propina el día a día, todos merecemos recrear nuestro cuerpo y nuestra mente.
Hay escenarios que cumplen con esa idea. Y ¿que mejor lugar para hacerlo que cerca del mar, en la playa?
El observar el agua, las olas, el oír el batir de las olas, el caminar sin calzado por la arena, el sentarse a charlas un rato con buenos amigos en ese entorno, el compartir una comida, el nadar juntos, jugar o simplemente observar la inmensidad del mar, nos hace sentir relajados, muy apartados de lo cotidiano.
Y esto fue lo que mi esposa y yo disfrutamos este pasado fin de semana.
Un grupo de amigos nos extendieron la agradable invitación para ir a la playa, y en seguida respondimos sin dudar: "claro que queremos ir con ustedes".
Eso era una de las cosas que tanto deseábamos en estos momentos.
Apenas nos estamos reponiendo de la dura pandemia que nos había alejado de esos lugares tan reconfortantes, y que nos había mantenido a mucha distancia de nuestros queridos amigos y, cuando nos mencionaron de este viaje, nos lleno de una alegría que habíamos extrañado por bastante tiempo.
El viaje fue muy divertido: no queríamos que nadie se quedara, íbamos como sardinas enlatadas, pero la felicidad y las sonorizas no se apartaban de nuestros rostros.
Tan solo estar junto a buenos amigos nuevamente, es muy animador y eso nos alegra muchísimo.
En lo que llegamos a la costa del mar, el sentimiento de alegría era mayor. Pudimos disfrutar mucho de juegos, caminatas, comida, refresco, buena conversaciones y de estrechar mucho mas los lazos de amistad y de ampliar nuestro circulo de amigos.
Sin duda, nos recreamos mucho, la pasamos muy bien.
los niños pasaron casi todo el rato dentro del agua divirtiéndose mucho.
Ya al final de la tarde, y aun sentados en la orilla de la playa, todos concordamos que deseábamos que ese momento se repitiera de ser posible una vez por mes, porque sentimos lo animados y reconfortados que nos sentimos.
Sin duda, fue un día bien combinado: Playa, mar, arena, sol, comida, la buena compañía de sanas amistades y mucha diversión, fueron la razón de alegría para todos.
Deseamos que se repita.
