EL INICIO DE UN NUEVO CAMINO
Mi nombre es Daniel Lameda, nací el 8 de octubre del 2002, en Venezuela, estado Carabobo. Vengo de una familia humilde y trabajadora de la cuál tanto mi mamá como papá se encargaron de que nunca me faltara nada y de brindarme la mejor educación, valores, cariño y amor del mundo. Soy estudiante de la Universidad de Carabobo en la carrera de “Contaduría Publica”, mi elección hacía esta carrera es debido a que me encantan los números y me la llevo de cierta manera muy bien con ellos. Uno de mis mayores gustos es que adoro comer, aunque a veces sea un poco meticuloso para eso ya que no me gusta toda clase de comida, a continuación hablaré un poco más de mí .
Soy un chico de 20 años de la Ciudad de Valencia, con valores de humildad, respeto, compañerismo y que puedo llegar a tener mucha empatía por personas que están pasando momentos difíciles, diferentes o similares a los que yo pasé alguna vez. Desde pequeño hubieron tres cosas que marcaron mi vida y que a día de hoy forman parte de lo que soy, como lo son: el Basket, el mundo Gaming y el ánime; y hubo además otra faceta que marcó parte de mi adolescencia y que podría llamarlo mi talento oculto como lo es, la escritura.
My name is Daniel Lameda, I was born on October 8, 2002, in Venezuela, Carabobo state. I come from a humble and hardworking family of which both my mom and dad made sure that I never lacked anything and gave me the best education, values, affection and love in the world. I am a student at the University of Carabobo in the career of “Public Accounting”, my choice for this career is because I love numbers and I get along very well with them. One of my biggest likes is that I love to eat, although sometimes I’m a little picky about it because I don’t like all kinds of food, next I will talk a little more about me.
I am a 20 year old boy from the city of Valencia, with values of humility, respect, companionship and I can get to have a lot of empathy for people who are going through difficult times, different or similar to what I went through at some point. Since I was a child there were three things that marked my life and that today are part of who I am, as they are: Basketball, the world of Gaming and anime; and there was also another facet that marked part of my adolescence and I could call it my hidden talent as it is, writing.
EL BASKET EN MI VIDA
My parents say that since my mom was pregnant with me I have been attending basketball games, my love and passion for that sport was born from watching other players that would become my inspiration years later, as was the case of the player Kobe Bryant who is no longer in this world, I loved a game of the “Los Angeles Lakers” because I knew that in that game Kobe was going to play. With the Venezuelan Basketball League I loved to go to watch my birth team “Trotamundos de Carabobo” and it was around 5 years old when my path to what would become this wonderful sport began. The academy where I was formed was the school of “Rostin Gonzales” in which I was around 11 years, for me it was my safe place, when I stepped on the court everything dissipated as problems and worries, in it all the bad went away. My parents always went to my games, my mom went more with me to them since my dad worked and did not have much time, but there were some games in which I felt that I had to work twice as hard and that was when my dad went to see me play, he has always loved this sport therefore the fact that I played and practiced it made him feel very proud, and as he spent much of the time working and then on the days that he had a game in times or days that he could attend I was mentally that I had to play my best, in a way it motivated me even more. I have been injured 3 times; the first time was a sprain, nothing serious and after two weeks I was playing again, after a few years I had another injury in an arm, nothing serious because I had a strong blow that made it difficult for me to move it and then, the last injury that took me out of the courts, both kneecaps deviated, something that still haunts me today due to the wear of so many years playing and doing sports. My departure was not definitive because years later I played municipal games, since I joined an Academy in the urbanization in which I live that years later would close, but in the same way we continued to meet to play this sport that somehow united us all.
El mundo del Gaming y yo
Años posteriores tuve otras consolas y seguí jugando a diversos títulos que a día de hoy adoro mucho y forman parte de una muy bonita infancia.
Everything goes back to my childhood, the consoles of which I have memories are several, but pointing out the most fond memories and that I have much appreciation are the Ps2, in which I spent much of my childhood playing various games with friends, as were also many anime games such as multiple Naruto and Dragon Ball games and spent incredible nights of games where we met until late playing and having fun. The other was the Nintendo Ds, that’s when I got into many sagas that today are very special to me as the Mario Bros games, especially the Mario Pärty but from that console the saga that I loved the most was the Pokemon, especially the Platinum and HeartGold editions. With these I spent hours playing and getting lost in the puzzles, that’s why the first times I played in English and yes, my knowledge of this language started from there after so many hours of play and then some knowledge remained in me. Years later I had other consoles and continued playing several titles that today I love very much and are part of a very nice childhood.
El mundo Otaku en mi vida
Ahora doy paso a una de las cosas en mi vida que perdura a día de hoy, evidentemente de pequeño siempre ví los animes clásicos que pasaban en Tv, cómo Naruto, Dragon Ball, Pokemon. Años posteriores empecé a ver animes por internet, muchos de ellos los he visto y repetido un millón de veces y que no me cansaré de ver, decir que tengo un ánime favorito es difícil, pero creo que con el ánime me sucede lo mismo que con los videojuegos y era mi manera de salir un rato de lo cotidiano. Muchas de las filosofías y frases que he visto en ellos las he empleado en mi vida, y aunque por cuestiones de tiempo ya no los veo con tanta frecuencia es algo que siempre llevo presente en mi vida.
Now I give way to one of the things in my life that lasts to this day, evidently as a child I always saw the classic anime that happened on TV, how Naruto, Dragon Ball, Pokemon. Years later I started watching anime on the internet, many of them I have seen and repeated a million times and I will never get tired of watching them, to say that I have a favorite anime is difficult, but I think that with anime is the same as with video games and it was my way to get out of the everyday for a while. Many of the philosophies and phrases that I have seen in them I have used in my life, and although for reasons of time I no longer see them so often is something that is always present in my life.
El mundo literario, mi otra realidad
Empecé a leer con 13 años, pues leía muchos libros de la plataforma “Wattpad”, títulos que siempre dejaban algo en mí, porque lo que algunos llamaban una historia cliché para mí no lo era del todo ya que cada libro es como las personas, tienen una esencia única y que diversifica de las demás. Mi primer libro leído en esta plataforma llevaba por título “De un sueño a la realidad”, libro que dejó mucho en mí porque a veces no nos damos cuenta de lo privilegiados que podemos llegar a ser en nuestras vidas y los cambios que nos puede llegar a dar en la misma una vez que no los tenemos.
Como dije al principio de todo esto, crecí en una familia humilde que trabajó para que a mi no me faltara nada, a mis 20 años una de las cosas que me motiva a seguir aprendiendo y a superarme es eso, el querer devolverle a mis padres todo lo que hicieron por mi, porque merecen eso y mucho más.
Empecé a escribir para mí, inspirándome en pequeños fragmentos o enseñanzas que me dejaban aquellos libros leídos, a veces de alguna série, película o ánime también, y que después se convertiría en mi manera de desahogarme para sacar todo lo reprimido, a veces también podría llamarlo un lenguaje del amor, mi forma más sincera y pura siempre serán a través de mis escritos.
I’ll be honest, this is what changed my life’s perspective the most, because at the beginning I used to say: if the movie exists, why read the book? Well, it is something that years later would give me the answer and that something would awaken something that would become what some call gift or talent.
I started reading when I was 13 years old, because I read many books on the platform “Wattpad”, titles that always left something in me, because what some called a cliché story for me was not at all because each book is like people, they have a unique essence and that diversifies from the others. My first book read on this platform was titled “From a dream to reality”, a book that left a lot in me because sometimes we do not realice how privileged we can become in our lives and the changes that we can get to give us in the same once we do not have them. As I said at the beginning of all this, I grew up in a humble family that worked so that I didn’t lack anything, at my 20 years old one of the things that motivates me to continue learning and to improve myself is that, wanting to give back to my parents everything they did for me, because they deserve that and much more.
I started to write for myself, inspired by small fragments or teachings that left me those books I read, sometimes from a series, movie or anime too, and that later would become my way of venting to get out everything repressed, sometimes I could also call it a language of love, my most sincere and pure form will always be through my writings.
