Todo comenzó el Miércoles cuando comencé a sangrar un poco al orinar, y me ardía cuando terminaba de hacerlo.

Llame inmediatamente al seguro y me refirieron ir al ginecólogo y al urologo para determinar de donde se generaba el problema. Trate de tomar la cita por el seguro pero no me la dieron a tiempo, llego el día Viernes, cuando llegue a casa del trabajo, a eso de las 5pm comencé a sentir un dolor en el abdomen bajo, pronto se extendió hasta la parte de atrás de la espalda baja de lado derecho, un dolor fuerte e insistente, tome buscapina por que pensé que podían ser gases, pero el dolor continuaba, en la madrugada no aguantaba el dolor y tuve que llamar a emergencias, me atendieron y mandaron a un Dr. A la casa a evaluarme y ver si requería de traslado a algún centro médico, llegaron a la 1am del sábado luego de que la Dra. Me evaluó efectivamente diagnóstico que si tenía infección de orina y que debía trasladarme para la atención médica.

Ya en la clínica esperamos por la clave del seguro, lo cual suele tardarse, a las 4 am me comenzaron a atender, me colocaron una sonda para tomarme la muestra de orina, me colocaron analgésico y antibióticos, luego que me atendieron me mandaron para la casa con los recipes de las medicinas, aunque casi todas fueron entregadas por ellos, solo faltaba el antibiótico. Yo estaba mal por lo que no me percaté que mi esposo no había comprado el antibiótico que es lo más importante, así q no lo había comenzado a tomar pero el sábado en el día me sentí muy bien, no tenía dolor ni malestar de ningún tipo.

I was sick so I did not realize that my husband had not bought the antibiotic which is the most important thing, so I had not started taking it, but on Saturday I felt very well, I had no pain or discomfort of any kind
En la noche al acostarme si sentí un poco de dolor nuevamente en el mismo lugar, pero pase la noche bien y ameneci con un poco de dolor de cabeza, pero me tome un acetaminofen y salí con mi esposo al mercado, en el camino me fui sintiendo peor, estaba mareada, cuando comenzamos a caminar hacia el mercado derrepente me dió un mareo muy fuerte y comencé a desvanecer me, yo sentía que iba a desmayar y morir, es una sensación muy mala que no deseo que nadie pase, me senté en la calle en frente de un negocio, y de pronto apareció una Sra. Muy amable qué nos ayudo a mi esposo y a mi, mi esposo me dio un cambur (banana) qué se conoce por sus propiedades para subir el potasio, nosotros no habíamos desayunado, tuvimos que agarrar un taxi para la casa por que me sentía muy mal, y mi esposo volvió a llamar a emergencias para que mandaran a un Dr., el Dr. Llego en pocos minutos, me evaluaron y me colocaron un calmante y un desinflamatorio, y me colocaron las piernas arriba por que tenía la tensión baja, el Dr. Preguntó si estaba tomándome el antibiótico por que era lo más importante, le dijimos que si por que lo confundimos con otro medicamento, me recomendó tener una dieta alta en proteínas por que en los exámenes me había salido el valor de la hematólogia muy baja (tenía anemia).
At night when I went to bed I felt a little pain again in the same place, but I spent the night well and I woke up with a little headache, but I took an acetaminophen and went out with my husband to the market, on the way I was feeling worse, I was dizzy, when we started to walk to the market suddenly I got a very strong dizziness and I started to faint, I felt like I was going to faint and die, it is a very bad feeling that I do not want anyone to go through, I sat on the street in front of a business, and suddenly a lady appeared. My husband gave me a cambur (banana) which is known for its properties to raise potassium, we had not had breakfast, we had to take a cab home because I felt very bad, and my husband called the emergency room again to send a Dr., The Dr. arrived in a few minutes, they evaluated me and gave me a painkiller and a disinflammatory, and they put my legs up because I had low blood pressure, the Dr. asked me if I was taking the antibiotic because it was the most important thing, we said yes because we confused it with another medication, he recommended me to have a diet high in protein because in the tests my hematology value was very low (I had anemia).
Mi familia estaba muy al pendiente de mi, tanto asi que gracias a ellos me di cuenta que no estaba tomando el antibiótico y lo mande a comprar de inmediato, lo tome ese dia.
Mi esposo estaba muy preocupado por mi, así que me compro varios jugos para subir mis defensas y compro hígado de res también.
Más tarde mientras almorzaba (el hígado) comencé a sentirme mal de nuevo, mareada, no me comí toda la comida, le dije a mi esposo que iba a acostarme por que me sentía mal, pero comencé a sentir una sensación de escalofríos horrible, y cuando me arropaba sentía que me quemaba todo por dentro, me sentía mareada, muy mal, mi esposo se asustó por que tenía los labios morados, y cuando me midió la temperatura la tenía en 35°, es decir no tenía temperatura, lo que lo asustó aun más, a él se le ocurrió colocarme una compresa caliente en la cabeza, mientras yo colapsaba, el llamaba a urgencias nuevamente para que me trasladaron ahora si a hospitalizarme, se tardaban mucho para pasarlo a un médico, hasta que por fin logro hablar con el Dr de guardia y mandaron la ambulancia de una vez.

Later while I was having lunch (the liver) I started to feel bad again, dizzy, I did not eat all the food, I told my husband that I was going to go to bed because I felt bad, but I started to feel a horrible shivering sensation, and when I tucked myself in I felt like everything was burning inside me, I felt dizzy, very bad, my husband got scared because my lips were purple, and when he measured my temperature, it was 35°, that is, I had no temperature, which scared him even more, he decided to put a hot compress on my head, while I was collapsing, he called the emergency room again so that they could transfer me to the hospital, it took them a long time to transfer him to a doctor, until he finally managed to talk to the doctor on duty and they sent the ambulance at once.
Luego me sentí mejor pero aún con el dolor en la parte baja de la espalda, llegué a la clínica y esperamos clave para que me atendieran, yo me sentía muy agotada.
No esperamos mucho cuando nos pasaron a emergencia mientras esperábamos clave para la habitación.
Me evaluó el urologo y me mando a realizar un Urotac, un estudio para ver las vías urinarias.
Luego en la habitación el Urologo indico que no se veían piedras pero se veía un líquido adentro qué me estaba inflamado, mi abdomen estaba hinchandose a medida que pasaba el tiempo, luego más tarde pasaron los cirujanos a evaluarme, me hicieron varios pruebas, me hicieron un tacto vaginal y un tacto rectal para ver que no fuera la vesícula, pero la descartaron pronto por que también tenía apetito (no me dejaban comer nada)
Llego el día Martes 03.06 mientras me pasaban antibióticos, hidratacion analgésicos y me hacían más estudios, incluso tuvieron que Realizarme una transfusión por mi cuadro anemico, ya perdí la cuenta de las veces que me sacaron la sangre y me pusieron vía para pasar los medicamentos.
Then I felt better but still with the pain in my lower back, I arrived at the clinic and we waited for a code for them to attend to me, I was feeling very exhausted.
We didn't wait long when we were transferred to the emergency room while we were waiting for our room code.
The urologist evaluated me and sent me for a Urotac, a study to see the urinary tract.
Then in the room the urologist indicated that no stones were seen but there was a liquid inside which was inflamed, my abdomen was swelling as time passed, then later the surgeons came to evaluate me, I did several tests, I did a vaginal examination and a rectal examination to see that it was not the gallbladder, but ruled it out soon because I also had appetite (they would not let me eat anything).
Tuesday 03.06 arrived while they gave me antibiotics, hydration, analgesics and they did more studies, they even had to give me a transfusion because of my anemic condition, I lost count of the times they took my blood and gave me a line to pass the medicines.
Ese día esperábamos noticias, la cirujano nos informó que realizaría un estudio por laparoscopia y que posiblemente sería ese mismo día, a las 9 o 10 pm paso el internista y nos dijo que seguramente quedaría la operación para el día siguiente por la hora, pero al rato llego la cirujano y dijo que ya estaban listos para la operación, estábamos nerviosos pero confiando en Dios, que guiará las manos de los doctores.
Entre a quirofano como a eso de las 10 pm y cuando desperté era la 1 am, enseguida pregunté a la enfermera si me habían sacado algo, y me dijo que me sacaron el apendice.
Luego me llevaron a la habitación donde me esperaba mi esposo aun preocupado.
La operación salió bien, me dejaron una sonda urinaria y un drenaje conectado al estómago.
Paso la noche y yo dormí tranquila, mi esposo no durmió pendiente de mi, el debía ir a trabajar ese día, mi papá iba a quedarse conmigo durante el día. Ya tenía 3 días en la clínica...
That day we were waiting for news, the surgeon informed us that she would perform a laparoscopic study and that it would possibly be that same day, at 9 or 10 pm the internist came by and told us that the operation would probably be done the next day because of the time, but soon the surgeon arrived and said that they were ready for the operation, we were nervous but trusting in God, who will guide the hands of the doctors.
I went into the operating room around 10 pm and when I woke up it was 1 am, I immediately asked the nurse if they had taken something out, and she told me that they took out my appendix.
Then they took me to the room where my husband was waiting for me, still worried.
The operation went well, they left me a urinary catheter and a drain connected to my stomach.
The night passed and I slept peacefully, my husband did not sleep while he was looking after me, he had to go to work that day, my dad was going to stay with me during the day. I had already been in the clinic for 3 days....
