Diciembre es ese mes donde todos nos ponemos reflexivos, comenzamos a pensar en las metas que nos planteamos el año anterior y reflexionamos acerca de las cosas que hicimos, las que dejamos de hacer y qué es aquello que buscamos lograr en el siguiente año.
Para nosotros no ha sido la excepción, 2023 representa un año en el que muchas cosas sucedieron, pero antes de hablar de lo logrado vayamos al inicio de todo.
December is the month when we all get reflective, we start thinking about the goals we set for the previous year and we reflect on the things we did, the things we failed to do and what we are looking to achieve in the following year.
For us it has been no exception, 2023 represents a year in which many things happened, but before we talk about what we have achieved, let's go to the beginning of it all.
En noviembre de 2022 dos soñadoras decidieron apostar todo a una idea, le dieron forma como pudieron y decidieron salir al ruedo (como coloquialmente se dice), y poco a poco eso que comenzó como una idea ha ido creciendo, retándolas en muchos sentidos. Comenzar fue lo más fácil, porque a pesar de que sabían todo el trabajo que vendría después, ha sido el apoyo que han recibido lo que las ha motivado a aventurarse a tomar nuevos retos.
Algunos de esos retos que decidieron plantearse durante este año fueron: planificar un primer meetup, organizar un webinar, mantener la planificación de realizar temporadas de 10 spaces en X (antiguo twitter), crear y mantener una comunicación directa con la comunidad a través de un grupo en telegram, crear una planificación de actividades para la comunidad en el grupo antes mencionado, ampliar el equipo de trabajo, conectar con otros proyectos y comunidades tanto dentro como fuera de Venezuela, hoy Say y Mafer pueden celebrar todo eso.
In November 2022 two dreamers decided to bet everything on an idea, they gave it shape as they could and decided to go out into the arena (as they say colloquially), and little by little what started as an idea has been growing, challenging them in many ways. Starting was the easiest thing to do, because even though they knew all the work that would come later, it has been the support they have received that has motivated them to venture out and take on new challenges.
Some of those challenges they decided to take on during this year were: planning a first meetup, organizing a webinar, keeping the plan of doing seasons of 10 spaces on X (old twitter), creating and maintaining direct communication with the community through a telegram group, creating a plan of activities for the community in the aforementioned group, expanding the team, connecting with other projects and communities both inside and outside Venezuela, today Say and Mafer can celebrate all of that.
Algo que nunca esperábamos que ocurriera este año fue que los integrantes del team tuvieran participación en el evento cripto más importante del país, cada uno tuvo un pequeño lugar y eso nos llenó de mucha alegría y orgullo. Mafer estuvo como ponente en un workshop como parte de su trabajo de embajadora de Push Protocol y como aliada de Momento Blockchain durante toda la transmisión del evento, Say estuvo como panelista, moderadora y también trabajando con el equipo de BTC Techno en su stand, Veru fue presentadora en uno de lo stages, y Beto estuvo participando en la hackaton, cada uno demostrando el crecimiento que han tenido desde que iniciaron en este camino web3.
“Agradecida por cada oportunidad y siendo consciente que esas propuestas son parte de los resultados de los que vengo trabajando, fue un shock, un estrés, de realmente creerme que eso me estaba sucediendo a mi” ~ Mafer.
“... la CBW no solo es un evento grandioso en cuanto a innovación, tecnología y crypto, definitivamente es un puente de networking y acercamiento de amistades...!” ~ Veru.
Something that we never expected to happen this year was that the members of the team had participation in the most important crypto event in the country, each one had a small place and that filled us with great joy and pride. Mafer was a speaker at a workshop as part of her work as Push Protocol ambassador and as an ally of Momento Blockchain during the entire transmission of the event, Say was a panelist, moderator and also working with the BTC Techno team in their booth, Veru was a presenter in one of the stages, and Beto was participating in the hackathon, each one demonstrating the growth they have had since they started on this web3 path.

"... CBW is not only a great event in terms of innovation, technology and crypto, it's definitely a bridge for networking and bringing friendships closer...!" ~Veru.
Luego de esos días agotadores donde todo el team se pudo reunir por primera vez en persona, celebramos nuestro 1er aniversario con toda la comunidad, tuvimos un sorteo, reunión de celebración en Telegram, fueron muchas cosas geniales las que pudimos realizar. ¡Oh! También festejamos que ganamos nuestro primer grants, lo cual nos permitirá hacer muchas cosas que desde hace tiempo teníamos planificadas.
Y por último hace unos poquitos días entregamos a la comunidad los NFT´s de nuestra 4ta temporada de spaces. Una colección diferente, donde Mafer demuestra una vez más su crecimiento como diseñadora de nuestros NFT´s.
After those exhausting days where the whole team could meet for the first time in person, we celebrated our 1st anniversary with the whole community, we had a raffle, a celebration meeting in Telegram, there were many great things we could do. Oh! We also celebrated that we won our first grants, which will allow us to do many things that we had planned for a long time.
And finally a few days ago we delivered to the community the NFT's of our 4th season of spaces. A different collection, where Mafer demonstrates once again her growth as a designer of our NFT's.
Ahorita se supone que deberíamos estar de vacaciones, pero en este team eso no existe, 2024 viene cargado de más sueños por cumplir, y aunque seguimos en este camino de aprendizaje y descubriendo hacia dónde queremos ir, no dejamos de agradecer a cada persona que nos ha apoyado desde el día uno y esas nuevas que van llegando a cada actividad que realizamos.
Y como siempre decimos, no dejes de ser tú mismo, date la oportunidad de ir por eso que anhelas, más allá de las dudas y más allá del miedo, nunca sabes quién te está observando y está esperando el momento preciso para darte esa oportunidad que mereces.
Now we are supposed to be on vacation, but in this team that does not exist, 2024 comes loaded with more dreams to fulfill, and although we are still on this path of learning and discovering where we want to go, we do not stop thanking each person who has supported us from day one and those new ones that are coming to each activity we do.
And as we always say, don't stop being yourself, give yourself the opportunity to go for what you long for, beyond doubts and beyond fear, you never know who is watching you and is waiting for the right moment to give you the opportunity you deserve.
