Como todos saben este 22 de Mayo se Celebró una vez el Bitcoin Pizza Day 🍕 y en mi caso, este año no tenía planeado hacer nada aquí en Ecuador, si pensaba salir y comer pizza con mi esposo e hijos y celebrarlo de manera más familiar y tranquilo, pero no pensé en hacer algo más allá de eso, a diferencia del año pasado.
Sin embargo, como últimamente me la he pasado haciendo networking con gente bien chévere (ustedes también lo son) 😂, un chico con el cual vengo hablando cosas de otras redes dónde también estoy formando parte, me dijo que hiciera algo en Ecuador con Pizza DAO. Yo he visto las actividades de Pizza DAO y wow, son geniales, así que el síndrome del impostor vino y dije: nah, aquí no nos aprobarían nada. Pero cuando ya faltaban 2 días para el 22 de Mayo, este chico me insistió nuevamente y me dijo que preguntaría, para mí sorpresa aprobaron todo en la DAO y me apoyaron oara una pequeña fiesta de Pizzas.

As you all know this May 22nd was once again the Bitcoin Pizza Day 🍕 and in my case, this year I wasn't planning to do anything here in Ecuador, I was planning to go out and eat pizza with my husband and kids and celebrate it in a more familiar and quiet way, but I didn't think about doing anything beyond that, unlike last year.
However, as lately I've been networking with cool people (you guys are cool too) 😂, a guy with whom I've been talking about other networks where I'm also part of, told me to do something in Ecuador with Pizza DAO. I've seen the Pizza DAO activities and wow, they are great, so the impostor syndrome came and I said: nah, they wouldn't approve anything here. But when it was 2 days before the 22nd of May, this guy insisted me again and told me to ask, to my surprise they approved everything in the DAO and supported me for a small Pizza party.

Fue increíble contar con el apoyo de PizzaDAO, ya que desde el 2022 no apoya eventos aquí en Ecuador y los que se realizaron fueron en la Capital Quitó, a 11 horas de distancia de donde vivo, cumplí en tiempo record los requerimientos que me pidieron y confieso que fue un nuevo aprendizaje algunos procesos, pero se logró. También fue genial contar una vez más con el apoyo del Proyecto @aliento del cuál soy parte y junto a @eddiespino volvernos los santas de las pizzas y hacerle llegar también su parte al resto del Team e incluso hacer una iniciativa para nuestra comunidad. Gracias Eddie, por hacerlo posible.

It was amazing to have the support of PizzaDAO, because since 2022 they don't support events here in Ecuador and the ones that were held were in the capital Quitó, 11 hours away from where I live, I met in record time the requirements that they asked me and I confess that it was a new learning some processes, but it was achieved. It was also great to once again have the support of the @aliento Project of which I am part and together with @eddiespino we became the santas of the pizzas and we also did our part for the rest of the team and even made an initiative for our community. Ese día la pasamos genial, invité a mi familia y a algunos amigos que se mostraron interesados en el mundo Blockchain, ya que para el registro del evento y asistencia, tuvieron que mintear su primer NFT, a través del registro del evento en Unlock Protocol (luego les platico más de esto). Por otra parte me encantó contarle la historia de los 10 mil bitcoins las 2 pizzas y Lazslo a la señora del Local donde fuimos y ella realmente se mostró muy atenta e impresionada y contenta por la venta que hizo en un día de semana 😂🙊.

That day we had a great time, I invited my family and some friends who were interested in the Blockchain world, since for the registration of the event and attendance, they had to mine their first NFT, through the registration of the event in Unlock Protocol (I'll tell you more about this later). On the other hand I was delighted to tell the story of the 10 thousand bitcoins, the 2 pizzas and Lazslo to the lady at the Local where we went and she was really attentive and impressed and especially happy for the sale on a weekday 😂🙊.

¿Lo más difícil? Mandar a imprimir el banner, tazas, camisas para los regalos, en 24 horas. Pero la peor parte fue el lugar, ya que un requerimiento de PizzaDAO era que no fuera una cadena como Papas Johns, así que confiar en una pizzería artesanal que esas pizzas fueran ricas, pues un evento con pizzas malas, frías y costosas no es rentable, sin embargo las pizzas estuvieron deliciosas y les pude dar una pizza mediana a cada uno de mis amigos para que llevaran a sus casas y al final del evento, celebramos el cumpleaños de @rosmeris21, quien cumplió un día antes (el 21).

The hardest part? Getting the banner, mugs, shirts for the giveaways printed within 24 hours. But the worst part was the place, since one of PizzaDAO's requirements was that it wasn't a chain like Papas Johns, so I had to trust an artisan pizzeria that those pizzas were good, because an event with bad, cold and expensive pizzas is not profitable, however the pizzas were delicious and I could give a medium pizza to each one of my friends to take home and at the end of the event, we celebrated @rosmeris21's birthday, who had his birthday a day before (the 21st).

Que lindo que pudieron celebrarlo, a pesar de ser a última hora; y quedó genial, además las fotografías nos dicen que esas pizzas estaban estupendas.

Saludos Luisita, la verdad es que estaban muy buenas, tenía miedo, ya que lamentablemente las pizzas artesanales no siempre lo son.

Hola 👋🏻 todo va a depender del lugar y el tamaño, por lo general las grandes, cuestan entre $20 y $35, pero puedes conseguir pequeñas sencillas en $10 que son más personales.

Me encantaron las camisas y las tazas, ni hablar de las fotos que están muy bonitas, el lugar se ve colorido y fresco. Ni hablar de la señorita Eli que se ve linda en todas las fotos donde sale, que linda vale.
La pizza hizo que me diera hambre jajaja
Obviamente la Merch es del PizzaDAO pero al final para cada detalle, yo le puse mi toque y según mi diseño. A mí también me encantaron.
