Las celebraciones del Bitcoin Pizza Day hoy se extienden por todo el mundo. Es cómico porque cada año les echo el mismo cuento, y ante el señalamiento de “no estás pagándolas en BTC” me defiendo con un válido argumento: “esas pizzas no fueron pagadas en BTC al comercio, es decir, Laszlo si pagó 10.000 BTC por ellas, pero no fueron BTC lo que recibió la pizzería. Lo que pasó fue que él ofreció 10.000 BTC a quien se atreviera a mandarle 2 pizzas. Y alguien apareció, aceptó el reto, pidió dos pizzas de Papa Johns y se las mandó”. Y si, ese buen hombre, recibió para entonces el equivalente a $40, lo que hoy serían unos $700.000.000.
Imagina pagar esa cantidad en la actualidad, sería impensable, aunque podría privar aquello de “no es precio, es valor”. Las pizzas obviamente no lo valdrían, pero demostrar que es posible romper las cadenas y lograr la libertad, si que lo valen. Entonces si, no es precio, es valor.

Se ven deliciosas esa pizza, siempre pienso que ninguno de los dos ni el que pago y menos los que recibieron el pago imaginaron el valor que iba a llegar el BTC, mucho menos que iban a pasar a la historia.
Los dos se atrevieron a algo que para entonces era una locura; y como dices, tal vez ninguno de los dos era del todo consciente del impacto y trascendencia de aquella transacción. Hicieron historia.
