Seguimos en esta serie de posts para el onboarding de nuevos usuarios, definiendo de manera sencilla y precisa los conceptos básicos de Hive, así que bienvenidos nuevamente.
Aunque usaremos algunos términos que no hemos definido aún, tengan presente que no necesitan memorizar todo esto, lo irán experimentando poco a poco. Hablaremos también de criptomonedas, esto no significa que deban hacer ningún tipo de pago o inversión para iniciar en Hive, es solo conocimiento general.
Hive:
Esta es la criptomoneda principal, su nombre es igual al nombre de la blockchain en que se encuentra. Nos referimos con el nombre Hive tanto al activo criptográfico como a la blockchain o red en la que está construida.
Esta moneda permite la interacción en la red y la gobernanza, además de ser necesaria para que cualquier proyecto o aplicación conectada a este ecosistema pueda construirse y funcionar, de allí deriva el valor de Hive, en todas funcionalidades que puede tener dentro de la red.
Esta es una moneda que fluctúa en el mercado debido a la ley de la oferta y la demanda, por lo que veremos un gráfico en el cual el Hive puede tener volatilidad, ya que el valor lo otorgan los compradores y vendedores en un determinado momento. Debido a sus funcionalidades, compradores a nivel mundial pueden interesarse en esta blockchain con un respaldo tecnológico importante.

Hive se encuentra disponibles en varios intercambios como Binance quien es uno de los más utilizados, aquí dejo un enlace a Coinmarketcap para observar la lista de Exchanges en los que se puede comerciar Hive.
Hive Power (HP):
El Hive Power es simplemente pasar el Hive líquido a stake, lo que significa la posibilidad de sacar gran provecho a tus fondos que estarán resguardados en tu cuenta, pero que tendrías que esperar hasta 13 semanas para el retiro total de esos fondos basado en pagos fraccionados semanales, sin embargo, tener Hive power traer muchos beneficios y por eso muchas personas e inversores tienen en HP hasta millones de dólares.
- Gobernanza: el HP es la forma en que se puede medir de una manera cuantitativa la influencia dentro del ecosistema de Hive, al tener más Hive Power se puede tener un voto de mayor peso para diferentes propuestas en la red.
- Poder de Voto: El voto de cada usuario tiene un valor monetario basado de la criptomoneda de Hive, la cual está directamente ligada a la cantidad de stake que se tenga en la cuenta, en pocas palabras, mientras más HP tengas, más dinero valdrá cada voto que otorgues a otros autores, recomenzándolos a ellos y recibiendo parte de esa recompensa.
Tener HP puede significar una demostración de que confías en el proyecto de Hive, tu nivel en el ecosistema (Pez, Delfín, Orca, Ballena) estará marcado por el nivel de Hp o Stake que encierres en tu cuenta, nuestra recomendación es hacer crecer la cuenta en Hive Power al comenzar en Hive, para eso solo necesitas publicar y ser activo en el ecosistema.
Hive Backed Dollars (HBD)
Es la segunda moneda más importante en el ecosistema. Esta es una stablecoin, es decir que su precio se mantiene cercano al dólar estadounidense, por lo que no fluctúa en el mercado, como es el caso de la criptomoneda Hive, su funcionamiento se basa en el respaldo en reservas de Hive, por lo que no hay un banco detrás o una empresa que controle directamente la emisión de esta stablecoin, sino que es parte del funcionamiento de la blockchain. El comercio y transacciones internas en el ecosistema pueden realizarse tanto en Hive como en HBD, esta última permite una transacción sin volatilidad y precisa independientemente que el mercado puede estar subiendo o bajando.
Mercado Interno:
En el mercado interno de Hive puedes cambiar libremente de Hive a HBD o viceversa, sin ninguna restricción o comisión por efectuar el intercambio, existen muchas maneras de entrar en el mercado interno, sin embargo, les muestro una manera muy fácil desde PeakD.
Para Acceder al mercado solo debes acceder a tu wallet y al desplegar las opciones, puedes hacer PowerUP (aumentar tu Hivepower haciendo stake de tu Hive líquido), convertir a HBD (tardaría 3 días aproximadamente) o bien acceder al mercado en la opción Market.
Lo recomendable es utilizar Hive Keychain teniendo tu clave Active, si aún no has leido el post sobre las llaves, aquí te dejo el enlace
Saving (HBD)
Hablando de funcionalidades, existe una muy interesante para el HBD, la posibilidad de tenerlos resguardados en una sección de ahorros, en lugar de tener dinero bajo el colchón podemos ahorrar en HBD para generar intereses, sin hacer absolutamente nada, ese ahorro generarán un 20% anual que se pagarán automáticamente en tu billetera. Lo mejor es que no tienes que esperar a que se cumpla el año para recibir tus pagos, ya que se va pagando de manera fraccionada, el usuario puede elegir retirar su ganancia o bien colocar las ganancias en ahorro y así formar un interés compuesto del cual cada vez se obtiene más ganancias.
Importante:
- Este interés es dictaminado por un consenso de testigos en Hive, por ahora es de 20%, sin embargo, existe la posibilidad de que la tasa de interés cambie en un futuro.
- El retiro de fondos en savings toma tres días.
Para mover tus HBD, solamente debes entrar en tu wallet, en la flecha para desplegar las opciones y elegir "Transfer to Saving", luego elegir a cantidad, y pulsar el botón CONTINUE, recuerda que pedirá tu clave Active para que la transacción se realice.

Utilidad del HBD
Uno de los puntos fuertes de Hive Talk Project es ampliar las posibilidades de intercambio del HBD por productos y servicios dentro y fuera del ámbito digital, al tener un valor 1:1 con el dólar, los comercios y usuarios pueden comerciar y realizar transacciones de manera segura y rápida en la red de Hive sin la intervención de bancos u otros agentes.

Es importante señalar nuevamente que ninguna transacción en Hive genera comisiones o algún costo adicional, lo que hace que sea una economía funcional y totalmente atractiva para nuevos usuarios, emprendedores y empresas que deseen aprovechar las ventajas de este ecosistema.

Hive:

This currency allows interaction in the network and governance, as well as being necessary for any project or application connected to this ecosystem to be built and function, hence the value of Hive, in all the functionalities it can have within the network.
This is a currency that fluctuates in the market due to the law of supply and demand, so we will see a graph in which the Hive can have volatility, since the value is given by buyers and sellers at a given time. Due to its functionalities, buyers worldwide may be interested in this blockchain with an important technological backing.
Hive is available on several exchanges such as Binance who is one of the most widely used, here I leave a link to Coinmarketcap to observe the list of Exchanges where Hive can be traded.
Hive Power (HP):
Hive Power is simply passing liquid Hive to stake, which means the possibility to make great profit on your funds that will be safeguarded in your account, but you would have to wait up to 13 weeks for full withdrawal of those funds based on weekly split payments, however, having Hive power bring many benefits and that's why many people and investors have in HP up to millions of dollars.
- Governance: HP is the way in which you can measure in a quantitative way the influence within the Hive ecosystem, by having more Hive Power you can have a more weighty vote for different proposals in the network.
- Voting Power: The vote of each user has a monetary value based on the Hive cryptocurrency, which is directly linked to the amount of stake you have in your account, in short, the more HP you have, the more money each vote you give to other authors will be worth, recommencing them and receiving part of that reward.
Having HP can mean a demonstration that you trust the Hive project, your ecosystem level (Fish, Dolphin, Orca, Whale) will be marked by the level of Hp or Stake you lock in your account, our recommendation is to grow the account in Hive Power when you start in Hive, although for that you just need to publish and be active in the ecosystem.
Hive Backed Dollars (HBD)
This is the second most important coin in the ecosystem. This is a stablecoin, meaning that its price remains close to the US dollar, so it does not fluctuate in the market, as is the case with the Hive cryptocurrency, its operation is based on the backing in Hive reserves, so there is no bank behind it or a company that directly controls the issuance of this stablecoin, but it is part of the functioning of the blockchain. Trading and internal transactions in the ecosystem can be done on both Hive and HBD, the latter allowing for volatility-free and accurate trading regardless that the market may be going up or down.
Internal Market:
In Hive's internal market you can freely exchange from Hive to HBD or vice versa, without any restrictions or commission for making the exchange, there are many ways to enter the internal market, however, I show you a very easy way from PeakD.
To access the market you just need to log in to your wallet and when the options are displayed, you can do PowerUP (increase your Hivepower by staking your liquid Hive), convert to HBD (it would take 3 days approximately) or access the market in the Market option.

Saving (HBD)
Talking about functionalities, there is a very interesting feature for HBD, the possibility to have them saved in a savings section, instead of having money under the mattress we can save in HBD to generate interest, without doing absolutely nothing, that savings will generate a 20% per year that will be paid automatically in your wallet. The best thing is that you do not have to wait for the year to be completed to receive your payments, as it is paid in instalments, the user can choose to withdraw their earnings or place the earnings in savings and thus form a compound interest in which each time you get more profit.

Usefulness of HBD
One of the strengths of the Hivetalk project is to expand the possibilities of exchanging HBD for products and services in and out of the digital realm.
