Hola un gusto saludar a todos, hoy comenzó mi trayectoria en hive y por supuesto estoy emocionada de pertenecer a este grupo. Me siento ansiosa de empezar a compartir las experiencias que he vivido y leer las de ustedes.
¿Quien es Roselys?
Mi nombre es Roselys Arismendi, soy de la isla de Margarita (la perla de caribe) en Venezuela y tengo 25 años.
Cuando hablo de donde vengo, nada me complace más que decir que provengo de un pueblo agrícola y a su vez, amante al turismo. Sin embargo, también puedo hablar del municipio que sin duda alguna podemos decir que aparte de agricultor es pescador y trabajador de turismo.
Mis raíces Margariteñas siempre me acompañan en mi corazón a cada lugar que voy, en este lugar mágico puedes respirar aire puro, apreciar los mejores atardeceres, estar en contacto con la naturaleza, ¡ah y no olvidemos las mejores playas de Venezuela!
Actualmente busco la manera de crecer al lado de mi familia, siempre con las buenas costumbres, alimentando nuestro conocimiento y aprendiendo todo lo que sea posible, adaptando la mente y el cuerpo a ser versátil ante las adversidades qué se presenten en la vida y sobretodo, terminando mis estudios universitarios.
Soy estudiante de Turismo en la universidad de oriente (UDONE), una carrera sumamente hermosa, donde se aprende desde como tratar a los clientes o turistas, arreglar una habitación de hotel, realizar buffet (tanto cocinar como hacer la presentación), aprendemos como preparar los cócteles, como reservar un hotel. Pero a su vez, aprendemos también de las agencias de viajes, organizar paquetes de viaje según tú necesidad, el como vender el paquete. Pero hay algo que pocas personas saben, también aprendemos sobre la administración de un hotel o agencia de viajes, sobre el área de recursos humanos, aprendemos idiomas, contaduría, economía y otra actividades que nos pueden ayudar en muchas áreas de nuestra vida cotidiana.
En mis 25 años he aprendido a trabajar de todo un poco, he trabajado de mesonera, de bartender, secretaria, ayudante de cocina, ayudante de pizzería y cajera. Si, muchas actividades🤣, pero en la vida debemos aprender de todo un poco, no sabemos en qué nos podrá ayudar más adelante.
¿Cómo conocí Hive?
Conocí a Hive un día que vi a un grupo de integrantes con el logo en una camisa, me llamó mucho la atención y empecé a investigar, sin embargo, no había tenido el conocimiento de como se trabajaba. Así que me tocó investigar.
¿Que haré en hive?
He venido aquí para compartir mis experiencias, busco motivar a las personas, mostrando un poco de lo que observo y aprendió día a día. Al igual, quiero mostrarles las bellezas de la isla de margarita. Y a su vez, al momento de aprender lo suficiente poder ayudar a otras personas a que se integren a esta maravillosa plataforma.

Who is Roselys?
My name is Roselys Arismendi, I’m from Margarita Island (the pearl of the Caribbean) in Venezuela, and I’m 25 years old.
When I talk about where I come from, nothing makes me prouder than saying I’m from a farming town that also loves tourism. But I can also talk about my municipality, which, besides being agricultural, is definitely known for fishing and tourism.
My Margariteña roots are always with me wherever I go. In this magical place, you can breathe fresh air, enjoy the best sunsets, connect with nature, and—let’s not forget—the best beaches in Venezuela!
Right now, I’m looking for ways to grow alongside my family, always holding on to good values, feeding our minds, learning as much as possible, and adapting both mind and body to be versatile when facing life’s challenges—especially as I finish my university studies.
I’m a Tourism student at the Universidad de Oriente (UDONE), a truly beautiful major where you learn everything from how to treat clients or tourists, to making up a hotel room, setting up a buffet (both cooking and presentation), preparing cocktails, and booking hotels. We also learn about travel agencies, organizing travel packages to fit your needs, and how to sell those packages. But here’s something not everyone knows: we also study hotel and travel agency management, human resources, languages, accounting, economics, and other skills that help in many areas of daily life.
In my 25 years, I’ve learned to do a bit of everything—I’ve worked as a waitress, bartender, secretary, kitchen assistant, pizzeria helper, and cashier. Yep, a lot of jobs 🤣, but in life, you have to learn a little bit of everything; you never know what might help you in the future!
How did I discover Hive?
I found out about Hive one day when I saw a group of people wearing shirts with the logo—it really caught my attention, so I started looking into it. At first, I didn’t know how it worked, so I had to do some research.
What will I do on Hive?
I’m here to share my experiences and hopefully inspire others by showing a bit of what I see and learn every day. I also want to showcase the beauty of Margarita Island, and once I learn enough, help others join this amazing platform.
