In today's post I will share with you the emotion I feel for being taken into account in something that I consider important because of the trust and commitment it requires, such as choosing a godfather and/or godmother for your baby.
Es la primera vez que me realizan una propuesta como esta en mi vida, así que es por esta razón que me siento tan emocionada, es realmente lindo que piensen en mi para algo tan importante, ser madrina de un bebé, por el cual al bautizarlo adquiero un gran compromiso.
It is the first time that they make me a proposal like this in my life, so it is for this reason that I feel so excited, it is really nice that they think of me for something so important, being the godmother of a baby, for which when baptizing it I make a great commitment.
Ninguna de mis amigas ni amigos han tenido bebés, y la verdad tampoco tienen planes de hacerlo, pero sin embargo, mi tía, hace un año trajo al mundo a mi precioso Camilo Valentino, y desde que supe que estaba en el vientre yo lo amé. Su cumpleaños número uno fue el día 21 de agosto del presente año 2022, y justo un día antes a dicha fecha su madre y padre decidieron bautizar al bebé.
None of my friends have had babies, and the truth is they don't have any plans to do so either, but nevertheless, a year ago my aunt brought my precious Camilo Valentino into the world, and since I knew he was in the womb I loved him. . His birthday number one was on August 21 of the current year 2022, and just one day before that date his mother and father decided to baptize the baby.
Principalmente me tomaron en cuenta a mí y a mi pareja Víctor Eduardo para realizar esta linda ceremonia y ser los padrinos de Camilo Valentino. Un día antes de dicho bautizo asistimos a una charla obligatoria junto con sus padres, donde nos explicaron de que se trataba todo. El día de la eventualidad, primeramente el padre de la iglesia realiza una linda misa, para luego vertirle el agua bendita sobre la cabeza del bebé, que en esta ocasión fue de esta manera ya que también lo pueden sumergir y recibir el sagrado sacramento del bautismo.
Mainly they took me and my partner Víctor Eduardo into account to carry out this beautiful ceremony and be the godparents of Camilo Valentino. One day before said baptism we attended a mandatory talk together with his parents, where they explained to us what it was all about. On the day of the eventuality, first the father of the church performs a nice mass, and then pours the holy water on the baby's head, which on this occasion was this way since they can also immerse it and receive the sacred sacrament.
Cuando digo que ser madrina de un niño es un gran compromiso puesto a que adquirimos la responsabilidad de educar a los niños y quererlos como si fuesen nuestros, por lo tanto, para un padre y madre es importante tomar la decisión que persona proponerle ser padrinos y madrinas de su hijo, debe ser una persona de confianza, honesta, responsable, y sobretodo que ame con locura a su hijo.
When I say that being the godmother of a child is a great commitment since we acquire the responsibility of educating the children and loving them as if they were our own, therefore, for a father and mother it is important to make the decision which person to propose to be godparents and Godmothers of your child, you must be a trustworthy, honest, responsible person, and above all, someone who loves your child madly.
Debo destacar que, yo cumplo la faceta ideal de madrina para mi hermoso bebé Camilo Valentino, pues desde que supe de su concepción lo amo, y cuando lo tuve en mis brazos no cabía tanto amor en mi corazón.
I must emphasize that I fulfill the ideal facet of godmother for my beautiful baby Camilo Valentino, because since I learned of his conception I love him, and when I held him in my arms there was no room for so much love in my heart.
Me siento agradecida con sus padres por tomarme en cuenta para tan importante cosa y por tener la confianza y seguridad de que amo con todo mi corazón a su precioso bebé. También debo mencionar que me siento mucho más contenta y emocionada porque Camilo Valentino es mi primer ahijado, por la importancia del bautismo y sumándole que es mi primera experiencia en esto.
I feel grateful to his parents for taking me into account for such an important thing and for having the confidence and security that I love their precious baby with all my heart. I must also mention that I feel much happier and more excited because Camilo Valentino is my first godson, because of the importance of baptism and adding that it is my first experience in this.
