Unfortunately, every now and then there are phishing scams on Hive where people inadvertently enter their keys into fake sites and end up losing all their Hive and HBD. This collection talks about how some of these phishing scams work, how you can protect your account, and most important of all, what you need to do in the event you lose control of your account. This is a must read for newbies.

A very nicely done collection @livinguktaiwan! I have bookmarked it in PeakD, for my own future reference, as well as reblog it.

I hope it will serve to help others avoid problems with their accounts. It is so unfortunate there are people in the world with nothing more productive to do with their time than try to take advantage of and hurt others.

Thank you kindly for your effort to put it together! ❤👍🙂

Thank you for your contribution to this colllection @roleerob albeit a reactive one! I think it's very important that we keep on sending these messages out to people, and not only newbies, to raise awareness. It won't get rid of the scammers but at least people should be able to react quicker if anything happens

Happy to help! This post on vesting routes might be considered "advanced," but you may wish to consider it in a future compilation. I found it good to know and thankful to find mine were null (i.e. not tampered with ...), as expected.

Thanks for this, we shall update the collections with this

Reblogging this. Thank you very much!

Hello! I have a little more than a couple of days knowing the Hive platform, and I made my first post, although I'm a little confused and lost I have defended myself a little, that while I'm getting into and understanding the use and management of the platform, but while that happens, I would like to learn about the tags to use in a publication, as I have found out is that you can not invent tags and that leads me to doubt, there is a list of tags for each topic? and if so, where and how do I find them?
