Me haces falta papá!.
Muchas gracias!.
Life then took it from me early, being 14 years old, I had chest pain on a Monday in September and on Wednesday of that week my mom came from the clinic crying with my family, I just hugged her, I lost my dad, I regret never having Said how much I loved him, it's hard you know?, very hard! I miss his voice advising me, his gestures of affection to my mom, he revered my mom, he didn't call him "my love" or "my heaven" or anything like that , I told her "mommy" she was her life, with him I learned to love. I miss you dad!.
My sister and I stayed with my mother, taking care of us and loving us in her own way, with her silent love of those loves that are based on nothing more than facts.
Since I was 14 years old I took refuge and still do in God, and I did it for a long time in my mysterious machine, until the internet appeared and my time machine stopped working.
I discovered in music the magic of going back in time, the "time machine" was my discman, listening to music in it I felt my dad next to me, I remembered moments, his comments, I remembered places, I sang the music that I grew up with That filled my soul. Listening to music on my discman, I laughed, cried, reflected, distracted myself, all because music transports me to other places and reunites me with my loved ones, especially my dad. I have an uncle who passed away five years ago, too, and when I listen to Maestro Pastor López, my uncle Luis immediately comes to mind.
My time machine helped me to listen to part of my life, it helped me meet my father and listen to his advice, to be nostalgic with the lyrics of Bienvenido Granda and Don Julio Jaramillo. I thank God for being Latino, because we are this gentlemen, music accompanies us at parties, at work, on the street and even at wakes, we carry it in our veins.
My machine has already stopped working, there were many years of regressions for different times and spaces. My friends listen to a lot of Trap, especially, and then I arrive and show them the real music, my discman doesn't work anymore, the internet helps me, I like it because I don't play CDs anymore, I just look for my music and listen to it, but I remember that one with great affection a gift from my dad, he gave me the portal to reconnect with my roots and with him, thank God I learned to use the internet and thus continue listening to my beautiful music "of old".
Love your parents, value their advice, love them every day. I even miss my dad's scolding, I cry sometimes but I always remember him, I'm grateful that I no longer need my time machine, but I'm eternally grateful because music helped me bear the hard blow of losing him, music was in that time my calm, today is my vitamin and my happy memory, I still cry, but they are tears of having had the best dad that life can offer, my dad lost his Caracas accent after living many years here in Maturín but that sauce brave ever!.
Today I say thank you God, thank you life, thank you dad, thank you music and thank you for so much time machine. Thanks a lot!.
