In English

We are as human beings formed to feel, with the help of all our senses we can perceive all kinds of emotions that undoubtedly have a great impact on our day, I hear very often how friends say"this day is perfect to go to the beach "but the real meaning is not in the beach itself, but in what it represents to go to the beach, you know: relax, eat, have fun and all kinds of positive and joyful activities for our body, sensations that are unique and thanks to the memory of our senses we can receive, enjoy and remember with great longing.

On the other hand it is also common to hear phrases like "what a sad day, it doesn't provoke to do anything " referring to those gray days where there is no blue sky, it is cloudy and there is even some weather less warm than usual, and with that I wonder, is gray really sad or was it us as humans who gave it that connotation?

Thinking deeply about that, for several weeks I did that test, so I decided to make a list of 3 aspects that I loved and 3 that I disliked about a warm and clear day, as well as a gray and cloudy day and this is what I concluded:

Of warm days I love:

1- Their colors
2- Their energy
3- The mood they generate in me

From the cold and cloudy days I love:

1- Its serenity
2- Its mystery
3- Its romance

As not so pleasant aspects I felt that the warm days dazzle a lot perhaps, they are days of so much energy perhaps generated by the sun's rays, which do not generate calm, they heat me up and force me to be in some activity.

The cloudy days perhaps generate me sometimes a certain loneliness, a certain sadness, there is no energy, there is calm, the emotion in me goes down.

Seeing all this, reflecting a lot on these feelings, I realized that everything that surrounds us from childhood influences aspects as simple as the weather of a day, from the series, movies, experiences, traumas, joys and all kinds of situations that have happened in our lives.

An anecdote I can tell you is that when I was a child I had a story called "animals on the farm" a wonderful illustrative jewel, it was my favorite story, on page 6 there was a beautifully illustrated farm, in a cloudy sky of those that exist when it has just escaped, that good cold, that white sky but not gray, it was so incredible that I could even smell the smell of grass and wet earth just by looking at that story, it will not surprise you that it is one of my favorite climates today, right? And I know it has a lot to do with that story when I was a kid.

On the other hand, one of my favorite Disney movies, the best parts take place on sunny days and when we watch fun, adventure, joyful movies, they are always set on sunny days, so it is no coincidence that we love those blue sky days. In my particular case, rainy days don't bother me, in fact, I find them very romantic, I think that's because of the movie twilight 😂😂😂.

So as you can see, definitely our sensations are closely linked to emotions, but besides that, also to our experiences, to our experiences, to our traumas, a guy I know lost his parents in an accident while it was raining, so he hates the rain, he can't see it, he dislikes it, it makes him sad, while on the other hand I have a friend who's father threw her out of her house on a sunny day, so she loves cold, cloudy weather, she feels sad, he can't see it, he dislikes it, it makes him sad, while on the other hand I have a friend whose father threw her out of her house on a sunny day, so she loves cold, cloudy climates, she feels a certain rejection of soldiers, in fact she moved to live in a Venezuelan state with a mostly cloudy climate.

My conclusion to this reflection is that, there is beauty in both cases, a clear blue sky can be as beautiful and majestic as a gray one, at the same time, temperate climates can teach us many things, help us to discover ourselves, to live different experiences, to feel emotions that we did not feel, to have calm, to have a moment for ourselves, to read, to hug, to talk.

There is magic in both, even though they generate such different, complex and particular emotions in each one of us in ways that only we can feel them.

Absolutely agree with you on this concept, both sides can bring beauty, but you know, we just have to be open to seeing it. Yes, as with many things, seeing the days is connected to emotions, but on the other side, we can work on them. Well, we should work, but I know when there are some traumas or really deep sadness it is not easy (🤗)
You also gave me an idea now, to try to see three things in each case. Such a good attitude and excellent test. Maybe, is we all would do this, we would find more happy moments in our lives :))

Hi @mipiano , absolutely agree with you, it is really wonderful when we can find new ways to feel positive emotions and be happy, despite the color of the sky, the weather of the day or even other situations. Seeing the beautiful in our days will always be a healing therapy.

Thank you for your nice and special comment, I appreciate it very much. 🙏🙏
